Hey, I'm new into retro Arcade gaming and have stumbled across this site. I can see there are several front ends to choose from (i am looking at a few) but I wanted to know where I could get a demo / trial version of HS to try out ? I have 2 x Sinden light guns and am making a DIY spinner for steering games. I already have a bunch of mame (0.279) games. Just trying to get a reliable solution. Any advice appreciated đ

Hi everyone! No idea why it's taken me so long to bring myself to these forums, glad to finally be part of the community! I've been into emulation for (checks DOB) about 30 years now! Clearly remember running my first MD/Genesis ROM on a Pentium PC running at 100mhz with 8MB of RAM from a 800MB hard drive...simpler times! Shortly after I was blown away when N64 (which was still very much a current console at the time...) being playable through UltraHLE with my Voodoo card, getting hold of Neo-Geo games which was unattainable as a child, and seeing BLEEM! on the shelves at my local computer outlet (IYKYK). Gâday all ! WOW I havenât been here to years for years (couldnât even log back into my old account). Well done for keeping Hyperspin alive, it was my first arcade love. Completed many machines with Hyperspin front end. Would love to help again anyway I can. How can I help and get copy to test. I still got a lot of files backed up from 1.5. Hello all, okay Iâm not a level 1 noob. But wow is all I can say to all the beautiful work that has been done to hyperspin over the years! I recently got it fully installed / working and utilizing rocket launcher- HS1.5 version just wow the art files you all created are truly amazing. Iâve been into arcade machines for over a decade so would often see custom machines but none like the level hyperspin has gotten to. anyways I just wanted to introduce myself. I know I will have questions as I continue to make my hyperspin more my unique tastes. As of now Iâm configuring it to play all my old classic games I love. cheers!

12yr old "Newbie". Built a working rig back in 2013-14 with my X-Arcade pre-Tank-Stick double controller only to have my external drive fall off a desk and stop working shortly after. By the time I got around to trying to rebuild from scratch, I forgot what I did the first time. Excited to dust off my controller and get back to it, I was saddened to find the site down. Old timer here, when used to use BBS as means of communicating online and sharing from Commodore 64 and Amiga days! Anyways always been a big fan of HyperSpin and was just createing a new gun build for the old version, so now going to hold off and make it for HyperSpin 2. Think I'll bite the bullet and send ya my money so that I can get into this beta testing and help out to make this a great front end. Hello to all, and a big thank you for allowing me to join. I have just recently become aware of the retro gaming "scene," and I have dived in with gusto. I am a 57 yr old USAF active duty retiree and a USAF government civilian retiree. My main platforms for this retro journey are a Nvidia Shield (tv platform) as well as a Nvidia Shield Tablet. Given the notice of server issues and general lack of recent threads, hopefully this wasn't a bad time to become a paying member. So I've recently acquired a roughly 10 year old, 2-player Nu-Gen cabinet. Yo, amazed I even have the time to type this. Yes I'm 50 and yes I have a 1+ year old at home đ so my free time is limited. Younger me would dive into every tutorial, video, pdf and build from scratch. Well now... I have an arcade hyperspin system that was put together for me in 2017 - and life happened, haven't touched it much until recently. Now I'm trying to modernize, clean up, touch up and simplify. Evening all, hi from what i wish was a sunny south wales⊠i got my arcade machine today from bitcade. It came with a PC and hyperspin, loving the arcade classics, playing pheonix again after all these years is amazing total newbie to hyperspin and what can be done so looking forward to jumping in and learning.
