demonseed Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Hey Guys I have a bunch of PS2 games.. I scan with Tru match only finds about 75%,, but I know others match but they are not being renamed. Any suggestions? I have tried setting errors to 5 but it is still missing games.. so frustrated. I just want all the games or close to too match for HS. I know that tru match is not working as after the dump of the roms from source to new location. There is say 1000 games. If I merge source to the new location it increases by a few hundred? I am wondering if I need to set errors higher? I have tried rons renamer tool too but it gives some CRC error and does not run. It says the database is old or has no CRC.. the PS2 xml is the latest. Dons worked great for other roms but PS2 is giving no CRC in Xml error.. any idea if that can be fixed? It says "It appears that the xml file does not have any CRC tags for your games. Either this emulator is not set up or not supported? I did try hyperspin rom manager but it only auto finds say 75% then I have to manually go through the list... takes forever! What is the easiest way to rename and move all roms from source to a directory.? Maybe I just need to tweak a setting? thanks Jim
demonseed Posted June 23, 2015 Author Posted June 23, 2015 I have 1369 files.. and hyperspin rom rename found 1316.. a lot better.... Dons crashes.... and Tru match found about 1050.
32assassin Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 download Hypertools-4.3.25 from the FTP upload here/HyperCus/hypertools/Hypertools-4.3.25.zip this version allows you to disable the crc check. I'm not sure why this version is not uploaded tot he download section.

ninja2bceen Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 It only makes sense when you think about it, new site, new upload restrictions on non platnium, read only ftp, ftp probably costs something. There is also a big push to upload to the site. I'm a big fan and tend to agree with the approach if it is true. demonseed Posted June 25, 2015 Author Posted June 25, 2015 Well 3 days in and it rom manager stopped as my one disc was full!!! damn it.. hopw can I rename the files I have without COPYING? so I save on space?>
