spotUP Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 Google for the buttons used in Bishi Bashi and set the clock?
Metalzoic Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 I got KOF running by using Arcade PC Loader. I set up all my Taito Type-X games through it with the added benefit that some of them use higher resolutions now and all of them seem to run a bit less flaky. Yeah, for most of them this seems the best way to set these up.
bobmoo79 Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 I've been trying to set up a range of TTX games, but cannot seem to get the Taisen Hot Gimmick 5 keys remapped. Have you managed it? I tried using TTX_Config 2.0 and then loader with RHLoader but it didn't seem to work. Do you have any idea?

I didn't set this game up (isn't it a mahjong game?), but have you tried just remapping it using AutoHotKey from the RocketLauncher keymapper tab?
bobmoo79 Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Hmm, I hadn't even bothered to check what type of game it is, but found it online and decided i HAD to get it running. I guess anything that lays a challenge in front of me suddenly becomes irresistible. You're right though, it IS a mah-jong game. I played Mah-jong once and can't say I enjoyed it but I can't let this collection of 0s and 1s beat me. This is like Pokémon to me - got catch em all! I just have an addictive personality. :-) I know how to use AutoHotKey, but I don't know what the original controls are, so can't tell AutoHotKey what I want to map from. If anybody could tell me what the original controls for this game are that would be great.

I have no idea what the controls would be and with Mahjong there could be a bunch of them.
bobmoo79 Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Thanks for the input but unfortunately those keys don't work on my setup.
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted January 3, 2016 Author Posted January 3, 2016 A bit more Arcade action for you all. I used the art found by THK (many thanks as always) to create the background. This should flow much better with the theme from Hyperspin Simply Austin's YouTube
rastan Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Google for the buttons used in Bishi Bashi and set the clock? There was actually a .txt file in the folder with the inputs (I missed somehow) got it working.... I'll add it to my Hyperspin when I can find or get the time make a wheel for it, etc.
rastan Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Frenzy Express crashes for me right after the controller check, i don't use xpadder as i have an ipac, is this the reason? Any workaround? I get to the warning screen and it sits there.. if I press (I believe space..it exits with an error I believe)
checa Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 thanks Austin, finally got Samurai Spirits Sen to work with your version. My Taito Type X collection is complete!
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted January 29, 2016 Author Posted January 29, 2016 Some Nice News: Ok well as some of you may know a kind of online DRM featured and in fact playable in some cases version of most of these games and more has been working for some time. To put it in its most simple interpretation, its kinda like a Steam for Arcade machines. Except for this version it only plays Taito Type X version 1, 2 AND 3 plus some nice extras. The officicial users can link up to the Taito NESYS network and download their games. But whatever arcade or person that does this must own an original version of the original game... or at least the board/game it runs from. This has been quite secure in the past due to to it needing to be online to play, various security and program checks and HW dongles all needed to be active to play. However it looks like these have now been reversed engineered and in fact they can now be played without any problems on a XB360 pad. Many of the games used on these downloads are infact hacked versions made officially by the makers. So that they can be made to run on a Generic PC. This enables them to be played in the Generic Cabs as we just talked about in official arcades. But as the security has always been so strict, they aint been seen or touched. A private guy claims he has broken through and is playing without issue. Footage is taken and believed to be legit. However to not get himself into trouble, refuses to release the hacks/workarounds he has done untill Taito have moved on. Rumors are also being raised about the Sega Lindenburgh + some more modern Arcade titles being in the works too. These claims being made by a more "willing to release to public" kind of guy. Anwyas back to the subject. These are the titles believed to be currently playable with the hack/workarounds... Metalzoic Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Just checking to make sure that Chase HQ still isn't playable, correct?
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted January 29, 2016 Author Posted January 29, 2016 No mate, not that I have caught. Shame as to be honest its the one I want after my love of the original Simply Austin's YouTube
Anpanman Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Cyber Diver has apparently been dumped and works. Based off the HL2 engine.
Anpanman Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Although not a type X game (I believe this runs on Konami's E-Amusement system) Valve Limit R has also been dumped and working.
