damageinc86 Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 man there needs to be a sticky or something that let's new users know about pinnacle game profiler, antimicro, and xpadder, for making a hyperspin navigation profile.
Spawk Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 can you help me to input a joystick and configure More info is needed. Should I assume you are running HS 1.33? And since this is in the HyperLaunch section, you are not using RocketLauncher? If not, I would highly suggest upgrading to it. You have a lot of options here unfortunately, HyperHQ is not one of them and the joystick should not be enabled in there. This has been fixed in HyperSpin 1.4 if you have access to it but after you get the hang of keymappers, you will probably never need to enable it anyway. RocketLauncher currently supports AHK, JoyToKey, xPadder, and VJoy. I chose JoyToKey to have complete navigation from my xbox360 controller. You can find a written a tutorial for getting it set up in the tutorials section. man there needs to be a sticky or something that let's new users know about pinnacle game profiler, antimicro, and xpadder, for making a hyperspin navigation profile. If someone who uses the other keymappers would write similar tutorials it would really help new users decide which one appeals to them.
damageinc86 Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Yeah good idea. Maybe i'll write up something for pinnacle.
Metalzoic Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 man there needs to be a sticky or something that let's new users know about pinnacle game profiler, antimicro, and xpadder, for making a hyperspin navigation profile. What is that stuff needed for exactly? I'm not using any of those. I just set up my controls in HyperHQ/RocketLauncher and it all works with my joysticks & CP.
rust2dust Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Ipac2.....comes with its own program....easy. Sent from my VS986 using Tapatalk
damageinc86 Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 yeah that's because ipac2 makes it a keyboard right? so hyperspin would automatically be able to be controlled by a joystick that it thinks is a keyboard. For an xbox360 controller, or another usb controller, you'd want a keymapper like pinnacle game profiler, xpadder, or antimicro. Pinnacle is nice to have for the PC games too, because there are not only downloadable profiles for more popular games like halo, halo2, half-life, but you can easily make your own profile for stuff like hyperspin navigation and other simple pc games (broforce, locomalito games, etc.). just go to their websites and check them out if you are using a gamepad. It helps to make things very close to seamless once you get it all going.
aironeous Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I don't see what other things you need to do than set it all up in hyperspin and mame. My F710 logitech gamepad is working fine, no external program needed. I am just wondering how I will add a second one for player number 2. Can I just set it up in hyper HQ and then set the controls in the tab in mame?
