AlexDC22 Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Ok so I am finally apt done setting up taito type x again... let me tell you, it's been a journey lol But I think most of my problems has been windows 10,since I am setting it up on 2 different computers, one Intel and one amd. So now I am down to the bezels lol And so far so good... have the hard ones set up already, thx to gigapig for hooking me up with my old material for it,which BTW still works as it should... well mostly lol So as the title says... vertical bezels. .. well they're not showing up on either PC... I've tried the regular way to see in that's the case N that's how it's supposed to be set up now, and no that didn't work out either. For those who have this setup, they know that you just leave them in the games folder and it should work... well mine ain't showing up in and or out of Hyperspin lol I am at a loss here for sure... the simplest of setups and they ain't working oml lol Anyways windows 10 64, tried on the C and other partitions and still nothing. Thx for any advice you may provide. Alex.
Styphelus Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 I had the same problem a few months ago and no one had an answer. From what I remember no one was able to make it work successfully. I few years ago someone hacked the game exe files so they would work with bezels but I never had much success with those files either. The best thing is to run them stretched. If you find a solution let me know.
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 There are wrappers (no not Eneminmemem or whatever his name is) that do the bezel thing for you. They also rotate screen and more importantly return back to horizontal once game exits. Much more stable than trying to do it through RocketLauncher mate. Simply Austin's YouTube
gigapig Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Have you named the bezel correctly for the launcher you are using? If you using the exe in the TTX files then the bezel name needs to be named "bg169.jpg." If your using GameLoader then the background will go in the "Images" folder and should be labelled "bg.jpg."

SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Its just some added files that kind of change the game to automatically do the bezel and rotate for you once the game starts mate Simply Austin's YouTube

gigapig Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Alex, I'll sort you out with a working version of Raiden IV so you can test it. I have it working fine here on W10.
gigapig Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Forgot to mention this, if you're using a newer Game Loader did you enable the background in the TTX.ini?
AlexDC22 Posted October 20, 2015 Author Posted October 20, 2015 I did... still no show. Well I can't get it to load
