Looking for feedback on retro pc games that work in hs and are gamepad compatible... Newer games are ok too but I am limited to 128mb video. I would be interested in updates of games ie double dragon neon that are remakes or similar to arcade, nes, genesis time... I appreciate a list. Aorin Posted October 23, 2015 Share Posted October 23, 2015 Not a PC licensed game, but I added Streets of Rage Remake which is compatible with gamepad, Cyberia 1 and 2 also have controller support, though I didn't them fully, Metal Gear Solid 2 - Substance (Yeah the PC version works great, your 128 video card will run that fluidly as it's not emulated), Need for Speed Underground 2. I added other classics like Time Commando, it's a 1996 title, I don't think it supports controller natively but it works great with xpadder profile, Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Metalzoic Posted October 23, 2015 Share Posted October 23, 2015 I don't know about controllers or limiting to a 128 video card but: Castlevania: Mirror of Fate Cave Story Plus Guns, gore and canolli (?) Not A Hero Broforce ...really you just need to go to Steam and filter for action & indie games and you'll get a list of several hundred potential ones. Just wishlist the ones you might be interested in so you don't forget about them. Many (if not most) seem to have controller support. My problem is tougher, before I grab a PC game I have to find out if it can use keyboard only with no mouse, if the keys are re-bindable and if not if it's AHK compatible.
