I have a very wierd problem guys

Okay i did a fresh install of HS 1.3, overwrite it with the 1.4 exe and started to setup Hyperlaunch first.

 

I use HL 2.2.5 that comes with the install (no not moving over to Rocketlauncher so no crap about that)

 

this is what happens.

 

when i test HL outside of HS with MAME it launches Mortal Kombat, after that  i hit ESC to close the game and then you will see a black screen and my taskbar on top of it ( HL is still running i need to close HL through task manager)

 

now when i open it again and launch Mortal Kombat again it opens and closes just fine.

 

Now when i select a new game Pac-Man it does the same thing again, opens and then closes with a black sceen with my taskbar on top of it (close HL again within task messenger) now repeat it again...open up Pac-Man it now launches and close without a problem so every second time a game is launched it works but not the first time

 

so it looks like that the game it last opened in the INI works and when i select a new game it goes to shit again

 

i never had this problem, did a fresh install 4 times now and it keeps happening.

 

Going to do a fresh new install again, even formatted my drives and put a new windows on it.

I know there is options to "hide" windows taskbar in the launcher script, but I haven't messed

with that in ages. Might be the problem, probably not. Maybe it's in the settings files somewhere?

No it's not that those options aren't on yet. i use HL for a lot of custom things like on screen images and stuff like that,  so i havent even got to that part. i know a lot about it but this never happened before. just after a fresh install.

 

I already contacted BBB about it, but maybe this will be faster.

That's what happens when you use inferior launchers.

Somebody else on here had the same problem about a month ago. No idea if it was ever resolved or what to search for to find it though.

What mame are you using?i think one of the versions started doing that and forced me over to rocketlauncher. It was a focus issue for me. It's much better on the other side, the only thing that doesnt work and I miss are the hyperspeech bios and greetings. Someone find boogieman please to fix it

Found the problem. it was the MAME module, i replaced the new one with my old one and it works like a charm again
