How many front ends do you run? I can't even get one front end 100% configured, never mind two. This is not something I would want. Just don't have the time to play around with it.

 

What I want to know is, are you always as cheery as you sound on your videos?  You should have a video game channel on youtube, like that Metal Jesus guy does. I would watch just for the enthusiasm you show.

Definitely one of the things I love about Austins videos :)

I tend to be a little... well crazy.  I am known for being in some of the most horrific and crazy situations anyone could imagine and still be able to find the good side of it all hehehe.  I wish I could do metal Jesus stuff... I like his vids, I like loads of the old retro and nerdy channels, Happy Console Gamer, AVGN, Barnacules etc etc... thing is the missus would kick off royal!  The only reason I am allowed to do the emulation thing is that its all kept to a few PCs hehehe.  If I got my stuff down from the attick and started setting up my Spectrums and Commodores she would go mental hehehe

 

Thinking  of going more into some classic games though... I do love the older games.. especially now that all the modern ones revolve more about AAA on rail stories, DLC and... well... anything that involves money hehehe.  I love the simple old games :D

 

As for the Front Ends tough... jeez... that itself id a full time job.  I have literally around 6 builds of Hyperspin, some experimental, some tutorial and some just on my working PCs.  I even have one that streams around the house on Pis I setup in each room :D

 

RetroFE, I have a working build and a WIP build, I have to wait for this one as they keep on changing the folder structure and code to enable more theme and setup options.

 

Launchbox... I now have a couple of working versions of this.  A standalone version I run with emulators linked etc.  I also have a RocketLauncher enabled version... much smoother and takes literally 5 mins to setup.  You just add the RL command to each system you add!  I even have this added to my experimental HyperSpin build.....

 

It has 1 HyperSpin Layer to choose system Type...  Hand Held, Arcade, Console, Personnal Computers and Retro.  Each one then has a individual HyperSPin build showing the relevant systems. Inside my DOS and PC games it launches straight into Launchbox showing all the games and info.  Much better structure for these types of systems.

 

EmulationStation runs on my Pis, GameEx is currently being constructed for Vid purposes... etc etc... its a damn full time job hehhehee.

 

I do not watch TV, so it does free up lots of time for me... I like to watch Football (soccer for the US) and Movies, thats it :D  Means I havbe lots to keep me busy... but this damn imagination just  keeps coming up with new ideas! hehehe

You are nuts! I only have 1 PC and Hyperspin takes most of my time. No idea how you do it. Like you, I don't watch much TV. There are 2 or 3 TV shows I follow but I don't even watch movies. i would rather play a good RPG. The only thing I make sure to watch every week is as you call it, football. Every Saturday morning and Sunday morning I sit in front of the TV and watch the Premier League. 

 

Tragic events at Stamford Bridge last week. Our dear Special One is gone. Wish I was there to boo some of those players. What team do you go for? (Hint: Chelsea is the right answer)

The longest part of it all mate has been RocketLauncher... one you got that the rest is easy :)  Good thing is that they all work together!

 

I could only laugh when you said Chelsea... looks like you may be watching the Championship League next season ;)  Hehehe bad times for you   guys, especially considering last season.  I am a Liverpool Fan... born and bread :D

 

This season has been a crazy one... its wide open for anyone in the top half to take the title to be honest... game on!
