jmargel
Just started with hyperspin this week, my goal is to create a cabinet like all you have. However, I want to get the software part down first. I went through the videos and tutorials. I have hyperspin setup along with rocketlauncher. I have it working with my mame rom set along with the Atari 2600 emulator. What I want to do now is to create an 'Arcade Classics', that I will only have the mame roms that I usually will play. I went into HyperHQ and created the wheel menu, however I am not sure what to do next. I would imagine I would not copy the roms into the 'Arcade Classics\roms' directory. That somehow I can create a new database with only the games I want and still point it to the 'Mame\roms' directory? Could anyone help me out on what to do next? Metalzoic
In the download section here is Don's Hyper Tools. Download that. It includes an XML database program. What you can do is open up your current MAME database in it, then go through the full list and chose the games you want to put into a new XML by right clicking on them and adding them to the output/export list. On the left you can see different ways you can filter the loaded databse. This is how I split out my full MAME XML into all the different manufacturers, remove the Mahjong games, casino games, crappy bootlegs etc... Then just setup your new system in HyperHQ and RocketLauncher like normal (module, rom path, media etc...)

kylecp1979
Do you know how to save a game to favorites? It would probably be much easier to do that then making a wheel. My favorites change all the time.
