trekdropp Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 So i want to make a small hyperspin (500GB). I was wonder if the is a easy way to get: All the roms/chd that have themes? All the videos for these roms. Anybody made a batch file that checks the theme .zip and copy the rom .7zip that matches, to a different folder. And the same with the .flv with the rom .7zip
trekdropp Posted January 31, 2016 Author Posted January 31, 2016 Yeah sorry its late here in Holland I want all my mame roms and chd that have a theme in a folder, that way i can make a cab with onlny theme games and a smaller hdd.
rastan Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 basically you want to copy the ROMS that have themes... my suggestion would be using one of those matching programs that will MOVE/COPY the files to another folder once they are matched. goto the THEMES folder and make a XML then use that XML to match against the ROMS and all the files that matched can now be copied/moved to a new folder.
trekdropp Posted January 31, 2016 Author Posted January 31, 2016 YEAH! only... i dont know the progams. I make xml of my roms all the time. I never used a programme that moves my roms to a other folder that comperd with a nother folder.
rastan Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 try the don's tools... the rom renamer i think
THK Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Geen idee, maar volgens mij Don's tools inderdaad. Fatmatch was meer voor hernamen. Hope you don't have to go the manual route. Other space saving tips: use non-flash versions of themes where possible remove chd games that you don't need use lower res vids or at least make sure you have the latest set from emumovies But why 500gb? 4+TB hdd's are not that expensive ..........................back with a vengeance........................
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Fat match, set it to scan with results set to 100%. It will move the games with matching themes Simply Austin's YouTube
gigapig Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 There's a Hyperchecker app in downloads which will remove stuff based on the xml i think.
trekdropp Posted February 7, 2016 Author Posted February 7, 2016 Thanks everybody! i will sort it out today.. i really hope i dont need to do it manually..
