So I have a lot of these games running. How do guys have this running in HS? I have a arcadepc emulator.

Have someone a solution for my problem, I want the vertical games horizontal.

Yeah I saw that one. Nice tut, I would like to use the emulator I think it's not possible. Do you have the vertical games horizontal? Like raiden.

when i didn't know what I was doing I just set them up as PC games in hyper hq and had them on my main menu.... when I figured out how to set them up on their own wheel I just launched them with PClauncher or whatever in RL

I'm curious... What games are your favorite? I haven't looked at Type X really at all.

I ran them each through ArcadePC Loader to lock-in my settings, resolution, language etc... then just use the PCLauncher module to launch the EXE file (or BAT file for a handful of them).

That's about it other than individual settings.

Most probably run the games on a horizontal monitor and the software flips the game so it's viewed vertically.

You can run them fine on a vertical monitor just fine as long as it's the correct way up otherwise the game will be upside down.

It may be possible to use the files I include with the video. Instead of running the included exe (Raiden IV.exe for exampie) you could just use the batch file instead (Raiden IV.bat) so that the game is not rotated.

Raiden IV

Spica Adventure

Otomedius

Deathsmiles II

Daemon Bride and Arcane Heart 3, Street Fighter IV AE, but I'm not all that bothered about the fighting games.

Pop n Music would be pretty cool if I have a dedicated controller for it.

No please do not ask for Roms in any section of the forum.

You can find the files in the description of this video.

Does anyone else not have Spica Adventure saving settings? Specifically I want to make it free play, but it will never seem to stick.

I think you have the luxury of being able to read Japanese. :) I have no idea which setting it is and could only guess.

It could be two possible things. You don't have the correct exe file and an "sv" folder where the save file may be stored.

Secondly and less likely, some games need an "F" drive to save game/settings data. If it's not there then it will always default back.

Haha, I didn't think of that. I think I have both of those, but I'll double check later. If I tell you which option it is, would you be able to test it?

Many thanks!

If you go into the settings menu, it should be the fourth one from the top. システム設定 (system settings)

Then change the top option. There are only two, so it should be the non-default one. フリープレ (free play)

The bottom menu item will exit. 戻る (back)

It will ask if you want to save. Select はい (yes).

Finally, the bottom menu item will reset the game.

I've tried it a bunch of times, but nothing shows up in either the sv folder, or the F drive.

Also, sorry to keep asking you things, but how do you stop the debug console from Half Life showing up?

Never mind about the Half-Life 2 question. I found another version of the download which contains a hidedebug.vbs. Thanks to whomever made that! Now it makes me wonder if all the versions I have may be missing files and I am making things artificially hard for myself.

OK I have done that and it now has freeplay and the file "Spica.dat" in the sv folder. So it's possibly the exe you are using.
