Daphne not working in hyperspin

I have Drgon's Lair working and am able to run the game through the daphne loader fine.  It's when I'm trying to run it through rocketlauncher to test it I get the following error "ROM dl_f2_ui.bin couldn't be found in roms/lair/, or in ./roms/lair.zip. Read the daphne_log.txt for help.

 

I setup hyperspin to point to the framefiles dir and the daphne.exe.  Another issue I have is I can't get rocket launcher to see the dragons lair 2 game either.  I can also run that through the daphne loader but rocketlauncher doesn't see I have it.  The thing is that the .txt file that you copy to the frames file and edit is different then the one for the regular dragon's lair.  Not sure what I'm doing here.

Well turns out it was because I had the loader still running.  But not openGL is causing it to fail.  the log says I need opengl 2.0?

Change hardware acceleration from default to false in the global module settings.

Thanks that worked.  Now if I can just figure out how to get space ace and dl2 to work.  dl2 works in the loader but I can't get rocketlauncher to recognize that I have it.  The framefile stuff is very different then the regular dl game.  Maybe I'll start over.  Space Ace I can't get daphne to validate my disc.  I'm beginning to think it's not good

You're using an actual disc from the approved discs list?

Well I got the disks from a friend who always' intended to use them but didn't know what to do with them.  I'm not entirely sure so I'm thinking it is not an approved format.  I can look to purchase it from digital leisure.  Seems like they only offer it through steam?  I wonder how that would work?  I'd prefer to find an actual iso download or just have a disk sent to me.

Found the boxset for Dragon's Lair 20th anniversary DVD that has all three on amazon for like 6 bucks.  maybe I'll just order that.  That would be considered OK to do right?

Probably but I don't remember. Daphne will pull up a list of disks that work onscreen when you try to run the game if I remember right.

yea it did.  I'm trying to remember which ones it didn't support.  I seem to remember it only being the pc or HD ones?  But reading online get's a bit fuzzy as I've seen a bunch of people post different things.  I can probably find it on Daphne's website.  At least I've gotten DL and DL2 working.  My issue with DL2 was the framefile and it's name.  But I do want Space Ace up and running so I guess I'll have to figure out where to get it.  Looking online and I'm not finidng much it seems.  I was wrong on the amazon one I found.  didn't seem to be correct.  Said that version was 197 dollars which is strange.  anyway I guess I'll figure it out.
