ok i have pinn pointed the issue on why people aint able to log in. some were the groups we were in which was my issue but other peoples are diffrent due to mediawiki naming space which u can only have characters that are

a-z A-Z 0-9

so if your name containts an _ . , - = anything like that this is why you cant log in.

Only post here if you are having issues log in so we can look further into it.

also try when logging in your name in Caps and Lowercase incase that is the issue.

the fix might be a change to your username which we can do but will be discussed through PM.

So post here do not PM me direct as i'll only be checking against this forum till i contact you.

Login error

There is no user by the name "Rodent.Vienna". Check your spelling.

just tried, doesn't work.

I'd accept a global username edit to RodentVienna (without dot)

I could use some help. I'm using my normal username so I don't have any special character. I've also tried the password reset a few times. I use the temporary password from the email, type in my new password, confirm it, then hit "Set Password and Log In". It then takes me to a "Login error - Incorrect password entered. Please try again." screen and I'm back at square one.

EDIT: Oh, and I even switched from Tor over to Firefox and still nothing.

Ashek have you tried typein your password in upercase as u see it and all in lower

I just tried it again using all caps, still nothing. I copy paste the password reset from the email and when it asks for me to type in a new one, when I hit continue it gives me the error. Trying to log in again using the temp password or the one I set (all caps or not) doesn't work.

I couldn't remember it since I was saved forever ago. So I reset my forum password and it worked; if anyone else runs into this, hope it helps them out.

I think if I log out redo my password on the forum and try with that it works fine. Tired. Will try again tomorrow.

Alrighty folks....Taito Type X wikis are 95% complete! TTX Q&A is about 75% complete! Should be done in the next day our two and then a new system can be worked on! Thanks to all that have contributed in making this system available to the community!
