craiganderson
Hello, I have Sega Saturn Up and Running well but i cant get the emulator to respond to the second controller for player 2. I am using 2 xbox controllers via xpadder. xpadder is responding appropriately and player 1 is working very well but cant get player two to work actually...player two doesnt respond even if i hit the appropriate keyboard key rather than the xbox controller xpadder etc. so problem is somewhere in SSF emulator i guess i have re-mapped/re-defined the keys many times from within SSF using different options etc anybody else have this problem? thanks craig
gigapig
I have 2 Xbox wireless pads set up without any issues. I have a SSF xpadder profile set up.
craiganderson
thanks i guess i should have given more info im not actually using xpadder through hyperlaunch im using xpadder on its own and using autoprofiles to activate different profiles for different emulators....its working very well until now but i don't think its an xpadder problem cuz xpadder is doing its job (ie opening correct profile etc and player one is working perfectly) and the player two profile is being activated in xpadder its just that SSF seems not to recognize the keystrokes being provided by xpadder...... frustrating ill figure it out eventually... thanks for any ideas craig
Jonnykool
SSF doesnt recognise inputs like ctrl if you have them as part of your xpadder configuration.

mac12
Thats wierd, im having the same problem too but im using xpadder in RocketLauncher. Never had this problem until a few days ago. Does this only happen to you in SSF or in all your emulators? My problem happens in all the emulators...

BamBam
Congrats o getting the Saturn running. Try as I might, I never got mine running. It went by the way of the Daphne bird...another failed emu for me Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using Tapatalk
showstopper
I havent yet tried getting p2 working (for saturn) but what has worked well for me is to let the emu manage p2. So i use xpadder for p1 and then configure p2 in each emu. This has worked for all my emu's so far and seems to be the easiest solution imo. SIMPLYAUSTIN
Sorry to bring this back to life... but Im having the same problem? I set up the Emulator no problem, player one no problem. But I go to define the player 2 keys and the box that gives you the commands just blinks and goes. I have tried to reinstall a new version of the emu, plug in Dif pads, delete the configs and start again, in fact everything I can think of. I do not have Xpadder installed yet so theres no polution from that. Im just simply trying to configure 2 360 pads to the emulator.... im at a loss, does anyone know of this issue? gigapig
Do you have the drivers installed for the controllers? You seem to have done everything else.
SIMPLYAUSTIN
Yes, both drivers are installed. One is wired and one is wireless. Both are showing in the system hardware section in windows control panel. The problem is that I cant get the define screen to show long enough for me to edit them with the controllers. So what I see for player one... I press define keys, a little box pops up, it tells me to press up, I do that, it says press down, I do that etc etc etc What happens on player two.... I press the define keys, a little box pops up but then goes straight away?? All the games load no problem. Just I cant edit player 2 buttons? I have even tried to make pad one, pad two. This works, but I still cant change pad 2. I cant even make them keys only?
SIMPLYAUSTIN
STOP THE PRESS!!!!!!!!!!! I got it!!! I have no idea what the hell is going on, but I deleted everything apart form the games. Restarted the system, installed it wall again and set it up and now it works. I dont know if its me being a noob or if the Emu had some bug I missed but now its working fine. Many thanks Giga, it was the only thing I could thing of left I had not tried. Now for more troubles with other systems as Im now the proud owner of a new Saturn wheel!!!! BACK OF THE NET!!!!! SIMPLYAUSTIN
yeah, to be honest its a good Emu. Its just a shame they dont have built in disk image thingies to play the Roms without Dameon tools. I hate that thing!
