I got my artwork and roms ok.

Only problem is the correct emulator

What is the best and what is the correct Package name

use fba core from retroarch

FBA is an arcade emulator capable of emulating CPS3. Retroarch is a multi emulator emulator, that uses the "core" of other emulators so you can have one program to run many different emulators. So running Retroarch with the FBA core is like running running the FBA emulator, but with other customization that Retroarch allows.

 

I just use Mame and haven't noticed any issues.

What version of mame runs cps3 mine wont run them

You need the chd files for them to work in mame.
