Anpanman Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 I'm creating an all-vertical hyperspin setup. Because of the lack of themes I am using the arcade flyers archive as backgrounds for my games and used autokustom to create the wheels. I currently have a generic video border but my problem is that it looks a bit off when its paired with certain backgrounds. My question is, is it possible to use an flash video border? Are there any examples of themes using a flash video border?
dark13 Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 No, it is not possible to use a .swf as video border. You can use a .png as video border though. The only way to use a .swf videoborder is putting it on an Artwork layer. TBH it is also possible to load an external mp4/flv inside a .swf but this involves a bit of AS3 coding. It is also possible to embedd a flv inside a .swf. Automatizing infopanels creation from .csv files for HTPCs themes (look at infopanel tutorial.zip on the ftp in dark13 folder) PNGs to SWFs automatized flash scripts Hyperspin Wheelset automatized template (photoshop's variables + batch) Aeon nox 4.13 W.I.P. hyperspin skin
Anpanman Posted May 7, 2016 Author Posted May 7, 2016 Thanks Dark13, that clears up quite a bit. My idea was basically to make a flash border that changed colors.

And have the video the lowest layer? Or is the video always on top of the backgroun layer? Or could artwork1, 2, 3 or 4 be used as the video bored?
