MAMEUIFX 0.174 no-nag anywhere?

Has anyone seen one? 174 has been out for a week now and I believe the latest MAMEUIFX has been out for 5 days.

Pulsoph had the database ready to go before the split roms were even up on PDome, but I can't find a single thread on anyone here with a no-nag version.

...And why isn't the official MAMEUIFX no-nag by default?

Bummer.

I have all the updated roms/chd's and have created and updated 20 or so manufacturer XML's and genre lists, fixed all the clones that needed fixing, added some missing wheel art.

I just can't play it yet...

I've mentioned this before but no one responded.

 

I have downloaded Mameuifx from the usual site and just copied the new exe, run the games through RLUI and I don't get a nag screen. I have just tried around 4 random games and they start right up.

I think Galaga is one that throws up a "Not Working, press any key" warning. Is it just me?

You know I've never tried the one from the actual site. I'll give it a shot when I get back.

Giga are you still using GLSL? If so can you test out Spy Hunter, Rampage, Xenophobe and the other games I mention in this topic http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/topic/25857-glsl-weirdness/

I'm curious if they are displaying GLSL correctly for you or if this is an issue in the newer MAME builds.

i can release one or any, but i just put one out once in awhile because someone had ask me too, if you need a released on regularly basic of the compiled mame and mameuifx then i will. i thought someone was assign the duty and normally dont like stepping on people toes

I typically use your No-Nag RawInput compiles.  I for one would greatly appreciate it if you released them regularly.

right now... mame-dev have mame broken on the raw-input... they are aware of the issue since 0.172 but remains broken still to this current release which is 0.174

I'll take a no-nag if you can. I use an iPac and have no idea what that needs... I think I usually just grab the no-nag direct input version...

I love your raw input ones for my aimtraks so it would be greatly appreciated if you did do them imho even if someone else does. The more the merrier for options on stuff to play with. Thanks for your compiles!

I have no idea what that means.

All I know is I use an iPac encoder and have never had a MAME that the controls didn't work on. Ha!

well mameuifx 0.174.1 is up, both type are up, rawinput is broken so wont be a build for that

i make mame compiled sometime tommorrow

 

I wasn't aware that RawInput was broken in the current builds.  Thanks for the info.  I'm assuming I need Raw Input for my dual AimTrak lightguns to work, but I'll try the Direct Input version.

you do unless you want to set them as joystick mode instead of absolute mouse mode; that is the only way to use dual lightguns with current mame as of 0.172

either work with the ipac,

directinput 7 is for old style devices with more function to run with more compatiability

directinput 8 is for more modern equipment and mame-dev threw out compatiability for old stuff

Yeah I saw the ticket is still in acknowledged yet. Cant blame a guy for hoping anyway. ;)

@sevenseal I am using your mameuifx 0.174.1 and I get a compile error with galaxian after several error dialogs closing it then will run. Says it has one error.

mame-dev had release 174 was kinda of a bad release for them... something bad in source

much of it has been fixed in 175... which doesnt help us now..

i tried to compile the git but it wont compile

Hey Sevenseal... any chance you could run a compile of 0.175? I'm curious to see if the issue has been fixed.

doing a mame as we speak and the mameuifx will be made tomorrow
