BiLbOBaggins Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Hello : I'm not sure what the current status of HyperSync is but I would like to know where I can find XMLs for the "Unoffical Systems" even though they are listed in HyperSync. Mainly I'm talking about PS2, PSP, DS, and some others. I assume that is if I have a proper database, HyperSync will snatch whatever content is available. As far Unofficial Systems that aren't listed in HyperSync, how do I get that? I have tried the EmuMovies downloader but it does not seems to work well for me or I don't know how to use it. Plus I think you need the roms or it will find nothing.. Can someone help me out? Thanks
ghutch92 Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 ps2 xml psp and ds are a work in progress. In other words they haven't made a stable one yet. The others, I can't find a system named others, maybe look on the ftp? Normally the ftp has all the work in progress stuff. Also check the wheel art and box art threads and see if they are using some sort of xml. How to Install HyperSpin and more RocketLauncher HyperSpin Startup Script
BiLbOBaggins Posted February 1, 2014 Author Posted February 1, 2014 .. Thanks for the info ghutch. Looking forward to the PSP and DS and I'll expand on the "others systems" as well since you seem like you're willing to help me out. Thanks man
32assassin Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 just a side not but you are making a very wrong assumption official systems have lost their meaning. Back in the days of Hyperlaunch 1, official systems came pre installed with Hyperspin any additional system (Unofficial) you wanted to install you had to modify your AHK file. Now (asside from PS1) official systems means that an Official XML exists. that's why the PS1 was moved from Official to Unofficial but you are still able to get wheels from Hypersync. Artwork for the "other systems" exist only in the Upload folder, I'm sure you have seen this http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?28190-The-HyperSpin-Project last I checked their was more than 580 DS wheels ( I have some of the files I made in my FTP folder) 1480 PS2 wheels ( you can get most of this from the FTP all named to ghuthcs XML) 737 PSP wheels (less then 30 US wheels missing:congrats:) even if you have Official XMLs you will not have access to the files since they are stored in various places. if you want early access to those files, its time to join the project. and you don't need to know how to use Photoshop to join the project you can contribute with other things.
