thatman84 Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 Hi All, So I like all the wheel art and after reading Jay C's tutorial on the redraws I have a new sense of respect for the creators!! Only problem is I really like them on a tile, its easier to read whats in the list. I have limited skills and programs to work with (well none and Gimp!) My wheel art is currently all over the show with stuff from Simple Austin, Hypersync, Downloads section etc... I have a few questions so I dont end up wasting hundrends of hours doing something thats done or could only take a short time. These are examples for reference Goals 1. Uniform my setup somewhat 2. Default border around my wheel art with default background to the Main Menu wheel 3. System Theme specifc wheel background and a default border (may have a couple of borders to cover all the different systems) Im guessing my wheels will be 3 layers i - Background ii - Border around the background iii - Game Logo text My setup is for Android running through my HD TV 1920x180 (16:9) Questions 1. What size wheel should I have (400x175, 300x175) I have various sizes already including those, 479x221 etc... 2. Do I need to resize them for the stretchy stretchy HS thingy 3. Is there a pack of borders only anywhere? (I have some templates but no borders I like) 4. Is there anyway to automate the process of adding a background and border to the Hypersync wheel text art? damageinc86 Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 I think Crylen's are the cleanest. I did my homebrew game wheels with them and it turned out rather decent. Easy with the template.
thatman84 Posted June 13, 2016 Author Posted June 13, 2016 Just can't find the original templates. For either I have extracted psd's online before which is the best way to get all the layers/templates Hyperspin 2.0 Latest Download Hyperspin 2.0 Documentation -------Pre Hyperspin 2.0 Below---------- HS Android Overview & Install HS Android Base Pack Download My Tutorials
