leperwdup Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 To be able to properly keep track of my updates and progress regarding these wheels I thought it was best to create my own thread for this, rather then jack someone else's. --- Objective For The Wheel Sets --- With this wheel set is to have a complete set for every game that is in-line with the unified theme and where the wheel art is clean, easily readable and usable on most monitors and setups. All of the base backgrounds for the wheels are tested on several different monitors(I have 5 test monitors, as I do a lot of graphic work elsewhere) to check colors and most of the backgrounds for the wheels have separate level/lighting channels in the PSD file so that you adjust it accordingly, if for whatever reason it looks to dark/light for your monitor. I will take suggestions as well as a few requests (although most of these will be addressed after I have finished the major sets that I am already working on). For all of my work I will be providing the PSD files so that you may change anything needed to your liking. Please also make sure that you give credit to both the original content creator gibbawho as well as anyone else involved including myself. --- Complete Sets --- These are the sets that I have currently completed, if you want to see what they look like review the posts following this one. I have not had a chance to test all the wheels yet, so if some of the wheels for the sets are missing please let me know. You can find them in my folder labeled "LeperWdup" on the ftp. Once I have completed all the sets I will be going through and constantly tweaking and uploading updated wheels as I know some of the sizing may be a little off on some of the wheels. Just read the updates down the bottom to keep informed. leperwdup Posted February 7, 2014 Author Posted February 7, 2014 --- System Wheels for WIP --- These are completed system wheels that I have not yet completed the game set for. Either because of lack of minted wheels or they are my current WIP.
leperwdup Posted February 7, 2014 Author Posted February 7, 2014 Last reserve - Im pretty sure this is all I need
THK Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 reserved for more art (sigh @ 30 pics per post max) Or merge wheel images in a collage to show them off? ..........................back with a vengeance........................
32assassin Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Dreygor complete the ColecoVison wheel set some time a go. Its been available through Hypersync for a long time.
leperwdup Posted February 7, 2014 Author Posted February 7, 2014 @32assassin Thanks for informing me as I don't have ColecoVision setup on my hyperspin so it does not auto sync this but I will set it up to get them. A lot of these I am doing just to keep a consistent design across the board for everything and to give back to the community. @THQ Good point I don't know why I didn't think of this to be honest. Will be a lot easier to post this way also.
leperwdup Posted February 7, 2014 Author Posted February 7, 2014 Updated with the new completed systems. Nintendo - Virtual Boy Sega - 32x Sega - CD Sega - Dreamcast Sega - Game Gear Sega - Saturn SNK - Neo Geo CD SNK - Neo Geo Pocket Color Sony - PlayStation 1 *Uploading Now so be patient Also does anyone know how to resize images that I have attached in posts ? Since can't get the images in my second post to resize correctly.
Unknown50862 Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Also does anyone know how to resize images that I have attached in posts ? Since can't get the images in my second post to resize correctly. I believe you'll have to host them elsewhere (www.imgur.com) if you want to display them at their original size. Make sure to uncheck the "reference locally" option if using the Insert Image button, otherwise just put img tags around the direct url. Unifieid Megatheme - Themes, Extended (on-hold), Additional Systems, Wheels 1/Wheels 2, Fade, Bezels, Letter Packs, Pointers, Controller Icons My Hyperspin Setup
leperwdup Posted February 7, 2014 Author Posted February 7, 2014 Fair enough I'll set up the hosting elsewhere tonight. Time for bed for me 6:30am Uploads of the new work should be completed in the next 20 minutes. Enjoi
gibbawho Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Created a new folder called Unified Mega Theme with sub-folders for themes, bezels and wheels. Lets throw everything in there from here on out. Create Per-System sub-folders within the Wheels folder.
FLYNN`S Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Does your "Bandai - WonderSwan" include color?
leperwdup Posted February 13, 2014 Author Posted February 13, 2014 The wheels are for the color version. They are the text version of the wheels using the background that I did up. I could not find any minted wheels for this if you have them then let me know and I will redo the set using these.
KrillCaz Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Have you released the remaining system wheels for this set? Perhaps you could release the system wheels first? That way, at least, our system wheels won't look naked.
voyagerxp Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Will or is there any system wheels made for Sega Model 2, Sammy Atomiswave and Commodore Amiga 32.
andyco40 Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 any chance of doin a wheel for jukebox and music videos thanks.
leperwdup Posted February 23, 2014 Author Posted February 23, 2014 I have been a bit busy with work as of late but I will try to get the system wheels completed some time this week. @voyagerxp I have been mainly waiting for the system themes to get completed 100% for those as they were still doing minor touch ups to the themes when I last looked. Seems like that are all complete now so I will add them to the list when I get a chance.
achaley Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Where did you get the art for the playstation wheels?
AshuraX Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 on FTP, different folders, and official Sony Playstation folder. leperwdup Posted March 6, 2014 Author Posted March 6, 2014 Thanks for answering that Ashurax, as I honestly can not remember which folders or where I sourced it. I have been busy with both work and writing these scripts for the PC boxart. I have not gone anywhere and will eventually finish the artwork for the unified wheels. But it has been a pain in the ass finding the wheelart for alot of the sets. I have just finished downloading pretty much the whole FTP to allow for easier searching of the artwork on there for myself. Once I finally sort out the mess that it is and have almost fully completed sets of the wheels I will continue with this, just trying to find time at the moment between everything else
