Aorin Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 I wanted to hear from you guys, if you tried emulating them, how are they running now? I remember some months ago both emulators looked really promising, but I haven't tried any. There are work being done, Wheels, boxes, themes, databases, I'm assuming we can already play something in our PCs? Aorin
adamg Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 Simply Austin has been putting videos out pretty regularly where he runs games through those emulators to show progress. Everything looks pretty good actually. Making good progress but I have no idea what is needed to get it to run like he is showing. Sadly I do not emulate current generation games so cannot tell you my experience though I will tell you that my Wii U in my living room gets more play time than any other console in my house. Some really fun games there,
JoyStickKilla Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 There are many people who release videos when new versions come out that show the difference in gameplay for working versions and how they have changed with that newest version. Some of them are out within like hours of the new version coming out. Check out I believe John godgames on youtube
Aorin Posted December 3, 2016 Author Posted December 3, 2016 Yeah, I watched some videos now, I'm really impressed how fast emulators for new consoles are coming out, to emulate a current gen console is unbelievable. For what I watched, I think one or, at best, two years more and we'll have Wii U and 3DS fully emulated, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit. Aorin
adamg Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 I really think it will be sooner man. Those things are progressing at amazing speeds.
