Hyperspin Test Run

A simple Hyperspin test showing some of the interface and emulation (Retroarch), with some RocketLauncher management behind the scenes. Needs some tweaks, like some cropped video that should fit the overlay, etc., but it's really solid as it is for emulation in general. Also, since the recorder switch modes between the frontend and the game play, it doesn't look as smooth as it is, but it gives the idea, not counting the shaders that don't look right in the video recording, but looks beautiful in normal usage.

Alive and Kicking! 

I tried recording with Bandicam first, but then it just records the window or in game if I preset it to record that source only, then I searched for free options, luckily, in my first try,  and it seems to be highest rated open source screen recorder did the trick, it seems to switch the source from window to direct x automatically, as you can see in the video, it take some seconds to do it, but it works and this is what matters. The program is OBS Studio.

I urge you guys to record your setup and post it here so everyone can enjoy it.

You think you can write up a tutorial on how to do it,everytime I try with obs I get a black screen.

It's easier than it seems, when you load it up, you just have to add the source you want to record, in our case, Display Capture, just click on the plus sign in Sources, add Display Capture, you can adjust video settings then and add a hotkey to start/stop recording, that's what I did.

I just updated the video, it includes game play for all consoles, shows Retroarch playing videos in Kodi, etc.
