Hi

I can`t get the sound to work on the main menu, or is it just for the game selection wheel...

Can i get the wheel art, as i plan on implementing this wheel, thanks

You should just need to put the .mp3 file into the \Media\Main Menu\Sound\Background Music folder and make sure it has the same name as the Wheel itself in the Database.

You can also find a framed and unframed version of the Wheel Art in screenshots.

Has anybody got a main menu theme for the search app that lets you search for games over all your systems...I think it was called hypersearch?

I have tried making a few in the past.

But as the overlay is as "Pretty" as most developers can get it I have offered to help make some overlay themes within the application itself.

I think the "themes" are a new part of the program so I cant be too critical of their beauty...

Not too far into the new year though Richie there should be something for ya. Also I will get stuck in and finish the rest of these PC game themes asap.

Great. I was referring to the main menu bit before you execute the hypersearch program. Maybe I'll just find a generic default theme..
You've spurned me on to try and get the full 100 games on your list between steam purchases and other methods I'm at about 60 now but the rest are a struggle..I'll get there though cheers

Haha, most of these games even I don't have. But I felt right to do some top 100's as they are the % most people would have enjoyed in the past.

If you want a main Menu Theme I could whip one up, but I guess there are a few sneaking around from other contributors.

They are usually pretty simple with just a wallpaper and maybe a logo etc.

These are couple I had creeping around in my setup, though unsure whom to credit as the theme.xml isn't tagged.

They are just Character Backgrounds and a 3D Bouncing Magnifying glass.

I don't use a Main Menu Item to launch it personally as mine loads with Hyperspin on Boot. Well .. HyperXML loads Hyperspin etc.

Thanks . I just found them after doing more digging.. Yeah one item on a wheel looks like crap..is there Any way to just show up one item instead of the same repeated??
Suppose I could just have it execute straight from the main menu wheel and no sub wheel??

Yeah its usually made for that.. Even so as I said can just run it before hand and in the Hyperxml config you can have it run Hyperspin also at the same time.

Then its just the F5 key to show and hide etc

 

PS. Just don't put Hyperspin or Hyperxml in your exit application... I got a fun Repeating loop that would open 1000's of copies if left..

FYI you have to have something like 10 items minimum in a wheel to not show duplicates

Can probably just make an invisible 5x5 place holder for the sub-wheel image also.. That way nothing will show

Used that as a test to hide my main menu wheel. Seemed to work well, however you miss "Whats Coming Next" etc. 
If your sub wheel art in the theme is static with no animations etc it should work ok. Else can just make default theme for it only to use.

Lol sorry Richie.. I might get them all eventually/dig out old copies etc.

I was mostly doing it as the most popular games for people and also a bit of history to run through as I used to love collecting PC Gamer Mags as a youngling. Ohh those Demo discs.

Will move on to the 2015 list next. (Granted there will be a fair few repeats which will save me some time!)

Once I get to 2017 will do the top 100 of all time via a very nice list created by another contributor.
