How to create DS-Videos / Video Snaps?

It is easy to download Game Trailers or Gameplay Videos from Youtube and cut them to 20-30sec videos via Movie Maker or other cutting / editing program but how do I manage to create Nintendo DS video snaps?

First of all they have a different format and second it consists of two videos whereas sometimes only the main video is filmed for youtube.

I have a lot of videos missing for Nintendo DS, this is why I am asking. I would share them with the community of course as soon as they`re finished.

EmuMovies is very picky about how they would like them done. If you want to be able to submit them, I would head over there and see what programs/settings they recommend.

Nothing from youtube (edited or not) will be acceptable though I am pretty sure.

You may have to capture it being played and then clean it up/trim it down via your Movie Maker/Editor.

OBS should capture playback pretty well.

thanks for your replies... I normally prefer FRAPS but a strange thing happened... HYPERSPIN WON´T START with Fraps running... I closed Fraps and Hyperspin starts without any problem. What the Heck is that!? I will give a try to OBS? Thought this one is only for streaming your desktop, didn`t know that you can save screenshots/make videos of your desktop

That is strange, but why record through HS anyway? I would go right to the emulator. Less stuff loaded is better when recording anyway.
