Does anyone know the best way to layer a Menu??

I saw a few things when it came making the Main menu three layers, instead of two.

 

Is there any step by step processes of how to make 3 layers or more of menus?

Its not overlay complex I don't think, its just a lot of work for little return overall I think. And most people are just holding out for the next version to finally release with hopefully said feature.

Essentially you just need more than one Hyperspin.
One of the Main Menu, then one for each Sub Menu.

The Main Menu would directly launch of scripts to task kill Hyperspin and then load the version needed. Arcade, Consoles, Handhelds, Settings.. etc etc.

You would also I think have to have a Wheel Item in each Sub-Hyperspin with something similar to Return to the Main Menu.

A set of batch file should do it I would think. Something like..

taskkill /F /IM Hyperspin.exe
START "" "X:\Hyperspin\Consoles\Hyperspin.exe"

 

You can break it down future I would think so you can group Console/Arcade Developers.

As you are essentially closing and re-opening the program all the time I think it just gets to be a bit much.. I will just wait for 2.0 I am patient... at times.

Bungles did you see the videos I sent you with some guy making some kind of script for it?

I am not that savvy at kid of thing, since he really didn't explain it that much.

 

Not sure if you can make heads or tails of it.  I am going to try more on it again, another time....

Yeah, I don't like that guy. He claims to innovate and then sells peoples hard work for money.

But he is essentially doing what has been done here before, using an AHK and script to launch close and reopen Hyperspin using different databases.. copied from temp locations I think.

I really have no idea about this stuff but iirc this 3rd party app is what gets used.

I just literally went through this but not on andriod. I posted a lot of my work settings under 3rd party apps

Think the OP is PC user its ot for android. I dont even think its possible on android

Thanks guys.... Much appreciated.....   For those who commented on this page, I wanted to give a visual of what I was trying to do....  I know some of you have seen it, and maybe some of you have not......But I did change it, with the tab menus....  but the background will be animated.  It will morph into different characters.  These two examples are what the morphing characters I have.... 

 

Once this is done, and you guys like the setup.....  I will have this to download.  

 

I must admit, I tackled one hell of a project on this.  I can see why people get carried away with customizing their own... 

 

I was involved about a year ago with this and kind of fell off for a while.....

 

I run a pet sitting business, that keeps me quite busy....  Believe me, I am not one to complain about success, I am greatful that it has done well.....  It does leave me at times, very busy....  It's slowed down some and I am very glad you guys are helping me....  I am going to look into the suggestions you guys made....  Thank you!
