thenoob Posted June 8, 2018 Posted June 8, 2018 Hello searched on here to find the problem and I can’t, but confused. as my pic says , RL is telling me it can’t find said XML I’m not new to this. My XML is sitting in Hyperspin/databases/taito type X/taito type x.xml from the prompt I’m given, it looks like RL is looking at the wrong place for the XML? i looked at the file structure where it’s looking for it, inside the rocketlauncherUI/databases folder , and there’s nothing there but a Systems.xml, no xml’s for any of the 30 other systems I have already setup. what am I doing wrong and do I need to redirect RL where it’s looking for the XML? thanks!!
thenoob Posted June 8, 2018 Author Posted June 8, 2018 I will add all the games in the XML file in the proper database folder are coming up on the game where. Inside HS so I don’t know why I’m getting this prompt, something in the INI?
thenoob Posted June 8, 2018 Author Posted June 8, 2018 And a second add- Inside RL / taito type X / edit global module settings, it’s missing games from the XML file in the game list it loads for me , seems like somethings not communicating properly?
gigapig Posted June 8, 2018 Posted June 8, 2018 That suggests that HyperSpin is not your active and default frontend or you have not set Hyperspin as the default plugin.
thenoob Posted June 9, 2018 Author Posted June 9, 2018 How would i find that out and fix it? My system runs fine with every other arcade/consoles I have put on my hyperspin setup.

Sorry you said you weren't new to this so I thought you may know. You will find those in RockLauncherUI, if you don't know where then I will get you some screen shots.
Spawk Posted June 10, 2018 Posted June 10, 2018 I am not sure exactly whats going on with your setup but the path in that image looks... curious. You have RL inside the HS folder. It is typically setup in its own folder these days as it is no longer part of HS. Also you have HS inside a folder called "new volume"??? Not necessarily system breaking, just odd.Anyway, you can add any games in the xml into the module list and then specify the exe and appwaitexe and they should work.Sent from my SM-A520W using Tapatalk
thenoob Posted June 10, 2018 Author Posted June 10, 2018 I just copied and pasted the database contents from its usual place to where it was looking and things are back to working, except ttx, it’s a confusing one, I’ll keep plugging away. I’ve managed to get a few games successfully launched, but things like Raiden Iv flip the screen and other weird stuff. funny tho , when I posted that original post, said everything was working fine, come to find out it wasn’t, now that I’ve moved that database folder, it’s back? Lol weird.
