The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

You have a folder named Rocketlauncher but the log shows calling Hyperlaunch3 from within it??? Thatman is right, it would be nice to see a log from one or two of your working systems to see if you are in fact using Hyperlaunch3.

When you first install RL you should install it to its own folder not in the HS directory.

Then you should entirely delete the hyperlaunch folder thats inside the HS folder so these mix ups dont happen.

Be careful ? if he does that and it's and purchased drive nothing will work.

Probably better off on second thought.

Yeah I meant when you first install RL if you were doing it from scratch.

Otherwise I am at a loss here, and I hope the daphne guide he was following was not on this site. There should not be an executable path set in HQ for any system. We let RL handle all launching and putting it here can cause extra emulators to load and hangs and all bad things... just NO. Maybe things were different back in the hyperlaunch days and it was needed???

the installation of Daphne should of took you 30 seconds

but as Spawk mentioned

this

14:41:03:709 | HL |     INFO  | +0     | CheckFile - Checking if G:\Hyperspin\RocketLauncher\hyperlaunch-3\HyperLaunch.exe exists

is bad in so many levels;  its bad to a point that you NEED!!!! to delete the entire Rocketlauncher folder

G:\Hyperspin\RocketLauncher

and download the most current Rocketlauncher zip file. because you are running  HYper1aunceh 3.0

and NOT rocketlauncher

more then likely you have outdated modules,   files have been moved to specific folders

DXWIN is located at

G:\Hyperspin\RocketLauncher\Module Extensions\dxwnd

I can tell you that you can back up your settings by saving this folder

C:\HyperSpin\RocketLauncher\Settings

draging and droping it into your new Rocketlauncher folder to save all your emulator/ rom paths and game specific settings

but quiet honestly  you are better doing a full Rocketlauncher install from scratch.

the only thing you should back up is the media folder

C:\HyperSpin\RocketLauncher\Media

and this is only if  you are using Rocketaluncher media such as bezels shaders ect.

thanks for all the help and good advice but like i said - i just leave away daphne and keep it this way. the whole thing ate up so much time that i forget what it was for.                            "PLAYING THE GOOD OLD GAME".

it´s a terrabyte of sweat and blood getting all of it together and i´d might jump out the window if this gets messed up :-D

ok taking a shower and overthinking the whole thing i did find a solution. took my daphne emu and a wrote batch file for each game - starting them within hyperspin as PC game.

now it runs flawless :-D
