Collection Wheel setups in Rocketlauncher

Hi All

I am trying to set up a favourite wheel so I can add games in from different wheels and I'm trying to model it off a collection wheel, I just cant get my head around some of my collection wheels and how they even work, for example I have a Double Dragon collection wheel and it has no emulators, alternate emulators  or modules configured under the Double Dragon system Wheel as per below so some how its running these games out of multiple wheels from this collection wheel without and configurations other than the rom paths to the other systems.

 

It has Rom paths but how does it work considering some of the games are across different wheels and different emulators. It would be so much easier if I could get my favourite wheel to work this way as the games are already working and configured on their respective wheels, I did a test by putting xevious in my favourites wheel but it was necessary to fully configure the emulator and modules and even then the screen was not right and there were no keys working, How the hell is it working from a collection wheel then with nothing configured except the rom paths as that's exactly what I'm trying to do on my favourites well, thanks anybody who can shed light on this.

thank you for the instructions I am trying to learn to do this myself but the point I'm making is that's not how its presently working, in these collection wheels there is nothing in the alternate emulator tab at all for any of my collection wheels I was just trying to understand how that is possibly working, cheers

check in the modules tab to see if he has linked the roms there

thanks ill keep playing around, I have also reached out to the place that built the cabinet to find out how this is working when logically it shouldn't be

you are dead right this would be exactly how these collection wheels were created,  thank you so much, when i bring up hyperspin xml search from hyperspin mine has a password when i try to access tools tab,  is there a default or would this have been set by the builder of the cab

Na didnt get it working,  after a month of stuffing around still getting emulator errors when i try to run anything from the global favorites list in hyperxmlspin,  does not work as advertised for me and i tried so many different things in the process screwed my setup so imaged back to default,  not worth the stress or time wasting but thank you helping
