The HyperSpin 2 beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Having pottered about with MAME for years and Daphne and not having the time to make my own system l purchased a 8tb cabinet set up. Its a beautiful machine. Well built with a Tron theme. Havent had the chance to use it much due to work and moving house. It boots straight into HS. Having checked a few of my fav games l find a few things missing. Is there a tutorial of short cuts/key stokes for HS. I now know Alt-F4 gets me out of HS and allows me to ctl-alt-del into task manager. I would like to find out where the favourite folder is and clear it. Thanks in advance.

The .txt files contain favorite games just delete them, for other systems just open the folder of the console es ..\HyperSpin\Databases\Sega Genesis\favorites.txt

Ok, in HS wheels menu where is the fav wheel?

Doesnt make sense to me.

We don’t know the key used as you have a Pre configured system (frowned apon  here, but you seem a decent user so it’s cool)

you our need to press a favourites hotkey to then bring up the favourites wheel. It should not be visible in your default menus normally.

the games in the favourites wheel are held in the text files directed above by Dark13

Open HyperHQ and check the key used for favorites

There is no "favorite" wheel, HS reads the favorite games in the .txt and creates a new wheel on the fly using the media of the system wheel

Now, that makes more sense. It would be a lot easier, but lm not near the machine as lm offshore and just trying to get to the bottom of what lve experienced before l get home and start dabbling
