Run and close Xpadder with HyperSpin

I'm trying to figure out a way to launch Xpadder when I launch HyperSpin then close it on exit. Can anyone help me to achieve this?

I found this thread that shows how to run a profile for each emulator but I want something simpler, I just need Xpadder to load and close with hyperspin.

This doesn't answer your question, but I think most people are launching it manually before they start Hyperspin at this point. There is an option in HyperHQ, but there is also an option in Xpadder itself called autoprofile that should let you launch xpadder.exe whenever you launch hyperspin.exe. Its under xpadder/ settings/ autoprofile. I have so much trouble with my controllers being seen by windows that I haven't tested any of it much yet.

Just tested the above and can confirm it works. Follow the directions for the install and setting keymapper to xpadder, and keymapper_enabled to true. Make sure you use hyperlaunchHQ to create a global profile for the front end in xpadder. Next find the line Program_To_Run_Target_1= and enter something like (H:/Hyperspin/Hyperlaunch/Profiles/Xpadder/_Default/p1.xpadderprofile) but for your set up. In other words point the above program to launch your hyperspin default profile instead of xpadder. Works perfectly.

anyone know what I need to do? I have xpadder set up in X system, it runs great when running outside of hyperspin and I can play games with a controller. I can use hyperspin front end with the controller but as soon as a load an emulator FROM hyperspin, it seems that the xpadder closes and the emulator doesn't read the controller anymore. Then I close the emulator to back into hyperspin and the controller isn't working in hyperspin because the program closed. Within hyperlaunch I have a p1 and p2 profile in the global settings and in the _default folder. I don't have profiles for xpadder in any system folder. When looking at the global settings I see 2 hyperspin, 2 hyperlaunch, and a default and a blank profile within keymapper. Any tips to keep the xpadder program open from transitioing from hyperspin to an emulator? thanks

Updated xpadder to 2013 and all is well

I cant get this to work, I have set up the startup file like this

[settings]

HyperLaunch_Path=F:\Games\Hyperspin\HyperSpin\Hyperlaunch

Hide_Cursor=false

Hide_Taskbar=false

[Keymapper]

Keymapper=xpadder

Keymapper_Enabled=true

keymapperAhkExternalEnabled=false

[Programs]

Minimize_Background_Windows_Enabled=false

Window_Classes_To_Not_Minimize=Shell_TrayWnd,Button

Program_To_Run_Target_1=F:\Games\Hyperspin\HyperSpin\HyperLaunch\Profiles\Xpadder\_Default\hyperspin profile p1.xpadderprofile

Program_To_Run_Working_Dir_1=

Program_To_Run_MaxMinHide_1=

Process_Name_To_Close_1=

But when I launch hyperspin the xpadderprofile flashes up, but then the controls wont work in the menu.

If I try it without the start up script the profile works fine.

Anyone know what im doing wrong?

Many thanks
