Nice man, what did you have to drink? I am having a Gin and Tonic. I'm off beer. But I'm wondering what you think about alcohol and HyperFitness?

I had a Henry Westons Vintage cider @8.2%. www.westons-cider.co.uk/general/age-verification/

I think most sports persons or body builders would tell you to steer clear of it, but your not training for competition.

I cut out the beer for a while a few years ago, and had pints of wine instead ;) now I don't drink in the week, only weekends, and it would only be a couple, if at all. You don't want a hangover if your planning to do exercise, the two just don't go together. I haven't had a hangover in years, having children will see to that, but having a glass of wine or G&T is fine, just not while running.

It's like anything, if you want the physical changes to happen and want to feel better, you have to cut back or even cut out (the doughnuts) what gave you the belly in the first place.

I lost my extra weight by mainly by cutting out a lot of junk and just not eating and drinking as much. I still pig out occasionally, and I probably enjoy it more. Now I need to get fit.

You've worked hard for that G&T, enjoy it.

Gig, I do love me some cider!!!

Steve, since I work out also I've been following some sites on recommendations for eating and such.......even The Rock's workout regimen has a cheat day where he can eat / drink whatever he wants. I do have a cheat day where I can gigapig (pun intended :) ) out. I mean why cut back on food when one of the joy's of life is to eat!

Iggy, did you put on an accent when saying that? :)

Yep.....cant have a cider without the accent, CHEERS!

It's funny hearing you boys mention Strongbow etc, it's a small world.

Reminds of of a time at a bar in Mariemont OH. The bar tender called Peanut had a lot of different ales and beers, so I ask him for a beer I was sure he wouldn't have. Sure enough he pulled a bottle of Hobgoblin out of the bag.

There's lots of flavoured Ciders here at the moment, a great drink for the summer.

Here's my personal favourite, the Dabinet from Sheppys. It's like biting into an apple.

Drink responsibly. ;)

HyperFit - Episode #12 - Fat-tastic...

Hey Homies,

Today was not my day as far running was concerned. I had a bit to much yesterday as far as food and drink goes. It took a lot to even get me outside. I did short run/long walk but I just was not into it. Oh well, I shall return to form tomorrow!!

Thanks,

Steve

HyperFit - Episode #13 - Fat Ants in my Pants

Some days when you're running you are overrun...with ants. I'm still going strong. Feeling much better today. More sleep. More Energy. Less crap in my system. More excitement. More ideas! Tomorrow will be two weeks straight running! Hope to see more of you guys joining in! No pressure! But yes! Pressure! hahah!

Yo skinny Steve, be careful not to slip down those cracks in the pavement. And completely off topic, does anyone else find America drains along to road, really scarey? Anything could be down there.

Congrates on your continued hard work and learning new bug extermination skills. What was that game with the ants? And I recognised that music??

Hahaha, EDF! EDF! The music was testament-over the wall. Awesome tune! Btw what was that music in your first vid?!

Sorry boys I seriously have never seen or heard of that game, thanks for bringing it to my attention. If it only came out on the 360 thats probably why.

Testament, of course, I have a testament album on vinyl and saw them on a Monsters of Rock tour with Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies and Metallica. We arrived late so I never saw suicidal :(

Mine was "Nerds" by the Hards ons, an Aussie band, and Suicidal Tendencies, my favourite band of all time. :)

All I wanted was a Pepsi just a Pepsi!!

Awesome dude! Slayer was my first show at the universal amphitheater with arch enemy. Then I saw maiden, Metallica. Haven't seen suicidal yet! But yeah I love me some metal/thrash/hardcore punk.

Mike Muir is for LA isn't he? You must have seen him at the Circle K or Venice Beach :)

Never seen Maiden, but saw Nirvana a few times before they became to big.

Just went to a skate shop down the street and these dudes were playing a suicidal bootleg DVD. The owner said he was friend with Mike. We chatted it up. I've never met him. I've met Danzig, most of the dudes from qotsa, the strokes and that's about it. You run into Rockers on sunset and melrose from time to time. Decide whether or not to say what's up or play it cool and not bother them. But yeah, LA can be cool sometimes. When there's no traffic.

Nice one Hazzard, wow 6 laps :top:

Answer:

Although I like a lot of genres, my favourite and most rewarding is RPG, hence the love of Stalker and Dark Souls etc.

Was that for real, a skate shop at the end of the street and all?

Nice.

Yeah there is a punk rock skate shop down on Greenleaf! Couple blocks away!

"You know, you know!" LOL. Awesome bro! I used to love RPGs but haven't had time to finish one in forever. I also love fighting games. Learned to play KOF at a Chinese video game store near my high school. Got really good back in the day! But yeah anything awesome!! Just started Zone of the Enders 2 last night! Wow! Upscaled graphics!
