Slowing down at startup

Hi everybody,

Hyperspin is always slowing down at 1st startup or when I turn on controllers before startup (animations of the joystick slow down, video is bugging, animations are slow).

After +/- 10 seconds, everything come back to normal. Is it something loading during startup?

Yes I notice it too. Letting the Intro video play all the way through helps me, which makes me think something is loading. If there is somebody out there that stuck Hyperspin on a solid state we can almost certainly verify that it is loading something in the background.

Mine is on an SSD and is pretty much instant, although sometimes it can take a few seconds for Hyperspin to start.

Thought it was just my setup...

I did notice that Hyperspeech added a couple of seconds to the load time.

So I was not the only one!

I didnt have the patience to sit it out for 10sec! I always start spinning the wheels.

Thanks for the replies. One thing I noticed: if I install a blank version and let the whole thing by default, Hyperspin load without this lag time...

I always thougt it was a corrupt theme/transition or just the 118 systems ive setup

118 systems? hahaha, let me ensure you, I have only about 15 systems and it slows down at startup...

I still have about 50 to go.

I didn't had the change to see what happens if I wait a couple secondss before I start spinning the wheels.
