stucazzo
I tried with little success, it's hard setting it up and playing using two devices. I'm hoping that there is a way to use a Xbox 360 Chatpad with xpadder or a script to work with computer based systems? I don't have a Chatpad to test it, but as anyone else tried it? Thanks STU
iNTiGOD
This is what I use craig for zx spectrum - spectaculator emulator. I have configured no joysticks in the emulator but instead the keyboard emulates Kempston Joystick. I launch a game then use the numbers to choose kempston from the in-game menu. alex2005
the amstrad CPC emulator on PSP has a really nice feature that allows you to use any keyboard key with the only use 2 PSP buttons. It would be nice to have such feature, as it makes it really easy to use with a joypad. The day the PSP emu emulates hombrew, I will switch to it to emulate computer systems, at least the amstrad CPC which is the one I am mostly interested in As for now, I use a wireless keyboard, no better choice at the moment, each computer game have completely different mapped keys, too hard from what i have seen to set up different profiles for different games Any ideas are welcome
potts43
What I do is go into each emulator and make a list of the must have operations and keys. I then configure my xbox 360 in xpadder. I create a large png of my controller with the button functions named. I create a bottomcentre instruction card that I can display at will if I need a reminder during a game and if you place that in your HL controller folder per system or per game you have access to it in hyperpause. Works well

Works well i do the same thing but on some of the computer systems there are so many different key combinations needed for different games that it is hard to get them all onto one xbox 360 setup. and i really do not want to do different xpadder profiles for different games..... ill prob just do xpadder setups for my fav games
potts43
Sometimes there is no shortcut and if a specific game needs a particular key I just load the system default profile and add the key and save it. Takes less than two minutes and then it works as advertised [emoji6]
craiganderson
this may be a stupid question, is there a way to shuffle through profiles on xpadder? i bet perhaps 5 different profiles (each with multiple key combinations) could cover MOST games for computer systems i would put a pic of each profile on the bezel and then would be great to shuffle through them right from the xbox 360 controller thanks
marxkemp
Why not right click a button and set a selector
craiganderson
i dont know how to do that. i will look into it thanks
marxkemp
Treat that button as a shift key. It will unlock more options on your controller. All you have to do is right-click a button map on your Xpadder profile and choose "Set selector". Change it to a different set and you're ready to go. It's something I'm really interested in and you sound like the xpadder expert we need here!
