Street Fighter IV Unplayable When HyperSpin is Running in BG

I just tested it with the HyperSpin 1.4 beta and the issue is still there.

 

I've dealt with this problem for years now.  With every iteration of Street Fighter IV (now Ultimate SFIV) from Steam, gameplay framerate regularly slows to a crawl and menus are laggy if HyperSpin is running.  Even though the benchmark works fine, an actual match will 3 times out of 4 have framerate problems.  I've tested this on both Nvidia and ATI graphics cards and had the same result.

 

The problem is completely non-existent if HyperSpin is not running.  My workaround has been to have HL run a script to kill HS whenever this game is run and reload it after it closes, but this is a hacky solution that opens up problems should the game not run.

I cannot say I have the same issue myself. Never a problem with framerate while HS is running in the background personally.

Same here. It runs with no issues with HS open. I did have problems with VJoy screwing it up, but that's it.

I have Steam startup with windows so it's always up and ready when I launch a Steam game. I'm not really even sure what Big Picture Mode is so I keep that box unchecked in the settings.

Never noticed an issue either, I will have to test it with version 1.4.15 of the HS beta.

I now have Big Picture as a separate wheel as well as direct launch.
