The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Huge Steam summer sale going on right now (6/11)

Cheers Metalzoic. Although not necessarily cab friendly the Metro Redux bundle looks like a great deal. In fact I just bought it.

Looking through it now and here's some I've seen that I know work good:

Binding of Isaac - should be good if your setup allows you to play with twin-sticks. I haven't played in on PC just Vita.

Kung Fu Strike - Great brawler if you have a 6 button setup.

One Finger Death Punch - AWESOME GAME! only needs 2 buttons, but it does require mouse input so if you don't have a trackball on your cab you'll be pissed you need to use a mouse.

Some on sale I'm curious about. Are the controls mappable? Can you play them with keyboard only (no mouse or controller required), ho many buttons needed etc.

Jamestown

Gattling Gears

Invisible Inc

The Fall (looks like needs mouse?)

Oni and the blind forest (looks like it needs a controller?)

Burnout Paradise

Project Cars

Dungeon of the Endless

Stick of Truth

I'll find more...

thanks for the head's up. Just picked up all the remaining tables of Pinball FX2 that I was missing. I now have the full set - except for the soccer tables. I passed on those...

The new Strider is on there and it is an unbelievably good game and can be set up to work on a 6 button cab (THE SETUP IS BIZARRE THOUGH)

What about:

Castle Crashers? I've read it has control issues on a cab

Hammer watch

Risk of Rain

Titan Souls

Grid 2

Psychonaughts

Strike Suit Infinity

Hero Siege

Half Minute Hero 2

Trackmania

Geometry Wars 3

Towerfall Ascension

castlevania Mirror of Fate

I haven't even seen that on sale yet. This sale list is so huge it's giving me a headache.

No one else can chime in on any of those games?

So far I've picked up:

Risk of Rain

Castlevania Mirror of Fate

Cave Story +

Sonic Racing transformed

Jamestown

King of Fighters XIII

Oh and Homeworld remastered which I know isn't cab friendly, but hopefully it (and many other games) will be playable once I have the trackball and spinners installed.

dude, get risk of rain, theres a few hyperspinners that play multiplayer occasionally.  its great fun.  Gigs, Im jelly of that purchase, I want those DLC missions

I grabbed Risk of Rain, but it requires a mouse to navigate the menus for some reason. It also restricts which buttons you can use to re-bind. What is up with idiot devs forcing mouse controls for no reason and limiting control setup?

Anyway, you probably shouldn't recommend it as cabinet/hyperspin friendly without mentioning that. I wouldn't have bought it then as it's unplayable on mine without getting out a keyboard.

KOF XIII looks like it may have keyboard rebinding issues as well (morons!), but I'll play with it some more. The others all seem good to go on a cab and I've already built themes for the ones that didn't have any and got everything added to my PC wheel. Good times!

sorry dude, its still one of the most addicting games on my list, I play it at least 3 times a week, usually a few hours at a time.

No problem. Once I get my new CP built with the trackball it will be just fine.

Mine works with the xbox360 controller in navigation and gameplay.  If that's something you can deal with then still way worth it.

Might be time for me to learn how to set up that 360 pad emulator then.

Hell yeah, me and Damageinc86 were playing last night, having a good run until my server crashed and we lost the game...  I think that last level we had about 5 bosses on screen at once.
