The most complete media collection for the Sega Genesis, Includes all official and unlicensed releases, protos and Sega Channel games released in USA. This pack and database also includes 3 compilations, 6-Pack (USA), Sonic Classics (USA) and Triple Play (USA). Some notable releases like Alien Soldier and Mega Man: Willy Wars, among others were released in USA via that service, they are 22 titles added to the database and use the white cardboard box and Sega Net adapter pictures as artwork. This pack doesn't include unlicensed games released worldwide, like Pier Solar, Xeno Crisis and others, it is focused solely on USA content. Those unlicensed titles will have their own pack later. Early prototypes which are mostly broken/incomplete weren't considered, while the most complete ones were already tested and added on previous efforts. The 3D box art is from Robin, EM and LB member, in its most part, while others I made to fill in the new additions to the database. Carts: Wheels/Logos: Database

This is a complete pack of carts for the Super Nintendo, it should include all 517 officially released games in Europe, plus Super Copa released in Brazil. This pack is partially OK, by that I mean most of the carts are from and old pack from Emumovies, which isn't 100% accurate, on the plus side it uses the newer ones from @Kondorito's pack, anyway, it's mostly a placeholder for a future accurate and higher resolution pack. If someone is interested in making them, contact me. 3D Box pack: Wheels/Logos: Database:

This is a complete pack of 3D boxes for the Super Nintendo European releases, it should include all 517 officially released games in that territory, plus Super Copa released in Brazil. This pack is based on a work from other users,NailbombRP worked collecting 2D covers, cleaning and improving their scans and posting them on Github and some forums as well as this one, the other being @SwedishGojira which made a 3D script to turn those in 3D. There were extra boxes for games never released in PAL territory and some PAL even using their US counterparts a few were missing from the PAL database, which I mostly fixed applying the correct covers on the 3D ones. This is a complete pack of wheels/logos for the Super Nintendo European releases, it should include all 516 officially released games in that territory, plus Super Copa released in Brazil. Most logos were gathered from various places, but I had to cut dozens myself and fix a bunch of others, they should all match their cover arts. 3D Box pack: Database: Carts:
  5. Super Nintendo Entertainment System Database (PAL) View File This is a complete database for the Super Nintendo, it should include all 517 officially released games in Europe, plus Super Copa released in Brazil. There's still room for improvements, like checking and fixing possible minor naming differences, which were mostly fixed, but there's always something that could be rechecked, also in Europe, ratings are different, so that's something to be checked as well. According to Segaretro.org there were 20 special releases for the Mega Drive in Australia, they were actually repacked titles sold in a budget like other Countries did in different ways,12 releases received the Gold Collection while the other 8 the Platinum collection branding. This is a collection of 3D boxes, 2D carts and logos, the 3D box pack was created using @Robin55's script, half the carts are taken from the European pack he also made a while ago and the logos I worked on them to match their box arts.

There's never been a true European database and artwork for any given system I can think of (except native European systems, of course), I've seen packs here and there, but this is different, I've worked on logos to match all cover arts, all released titles in Europe are covered here, including game compilations, protos and unlicensed games to this region, all different names were fixed, since not all games have the same name across the globe. This is a complete European Mega Drive pack of 3D Boxes, including all games released in Europe, not only exclusives, even program entries are here, like Action Replay, mostly for the sake of the database and as a curiosity than any other practical use, also, all artwork is always nice to see, that's why having different regions for the same console is always relevant. This is a team work between Robin from LaunchBox/Emumovies and myself, we aimed separate regions and we're getting there, USA, Europe and Japan now complete. All 3D Boxes were made by Robin and this is the renamed and cleaned pack to match all official releases. Other artwork and related content: Carts: Logos - Wheels: Database:
  9. The same will happen to the Genesis soon, a clean database like the Japanese and European versions, there are some games never released physically in the US like Alien Soldier and Mega Man: Willy Wars, they were released via the Sega Channel service, a few compilations, etc.

Note that most of this artwork wasn't created by me, I gathered all carts from the great @Wally Wonka's pack of carts for Genesis, which included European exclusive titles, the rest of them were taken from the Robin's European cart packs from Emumovies/Launchbox, then I filled all remaining gaps, including action replay, fixing some carts and the Knuckles lock-on cartridge. Most of the work is really building up a database, cross-checking artwork and title differences, filling in gaps, etc.

  16. If there's one thing (or three things) that messes this all up, are the spine, cart and manual English writings, if none of these were there, I'd still be on the Hardcore side, and since it's known as Hard Corps elsewhere, I believe it would be basically the user choice in the end, let's say both names are right. Also there are other titles like Castle of Illusion that in Japan can be called in both ways, that's Japan for you: Well, no choice would be wrong here either, while this is a different case than the Contra above, :>[ Anyway, please let me know if you find other inconsistencies, and I just remembered I haven't messed with the CERO ratings in this database.
  17. Actually, it's a word that would be translated with the same phonetic in Katakana and that is why it was localized as Hardcorps instead, try to differentiate both words "Harcore" and "Hard Corps" in Katakana, the only difference would be a space or a dot between ハード (Hard) and コア (Core), If you try that, you'll see the localization was misinterpreted, it should be localized as Hardcore. The box art is clearly written Hardcore without the dot or something in between that could make it a separate word for "Corps", instead they have a point which separates the ザ (The) from the Hardcore word "ハードコア". Beyond that, you may have heard a spin off called Hardcorps: Uprising, which is basically a Contra/Probotector for X360 and PS3, some Japanese speaking sites refer to this game like this: ハードコープス doesn't seem right but it's probably a way to say this game isn't related to the Mega Drive game. Anyway I have an open mind and I'm willing to update/fix the database any time, if you find any information that this entry in particular was meant to be named like it was overseas, let me know and any other entry needing fix, just tell me, thanks again! Edit: I often check Romhacking.net and people tend to fix numerous mistranslated games since the NES era, incorrect character names, locations, semantics, etc., it's really common. I'd say the spine English name was written by Japanese, I'm still considering what SegaRetro states and the lack of a space in the Katakana Hardcore writing. And, since they have Hard Corps in the cart, manual etc., I'd say there's no right or wrong, that kind of confusion is common, just edit it to Hard Corps and it's all good.
  18. Thanks, expect an European set soon.

This is a complete Japanese Mega Drive set of logos, including those released outside Japan, SegaRetro was used as a base and every game, even software checked and a clean database was created, I'm including two databases, one that has all entries, including the software releases, the other without them. This is a team work between Robin from LaunchBox/Emumovies and me, we aimed separate regions and we're getting there, USA, Europe and Japan now complete. Expect a pack of 3D boxes later today. While I basically did 250+ logos myself, a lot of them were taken from various sources, including this forum, some from Deviant Art, some from the Launchbox database site. There were cases where I had to redo a bunch of them, so they all should match their box art counterparts. 21. Hey @Wally Wonka, can you post the xml you attached in the description? Attachments are broken. Thanks!
  22. Only 200 left? Don't forget Famicom is NES too, they're not different systems, like Master System and Mark III :>]
  23. Great theme mate, simple, like the system that holds the game, beautiful work. Don't forget widescreen users, they'll want that in case you didn't create one already.
  24. Satellaview games were basically downloaded games which weren't released physically, I made a pack of logos I extracted from the games themselves some years ago, that's probably what was used for the cart logos as well.
  25. Thanks for contributing, great work.
