    These fixes have been rolling for years, mostly when Windows 10 was released with its subsequent updates. The .dll fix doesn't seem to work for everyone and there's the Defender issue, which is probably the main reason why most users have been facing issues starting the frontend. Since HS also relies on flash, which has been discontinued for years, it could be one of the reasons why it's flagged as a potential risk, but I'm not a developer, thus, I'm not sure. As for suggestions, depending on how you use your PC, if it's dedicated to gaming, you can either install a Windows version that won't update, and will only receive important security updates, or make it offline entirely, deactivating or making sure the anti-virus won't block its functionality. Is Hyperspin your only option? Have you tried another frontend, which is currently supported? I know there are many free options that have modern features, making it much easier to setup your systems. Hyperspin's and its community's heyday ended in 2018 at best, many talented people came and went their ways, it's a legacy and in my view, many other frontends owe a great deal to it, thousands of logos, box arts, databases, and Emumovies is a branch of Hyperspin and vice-versa, which feeds even more other frontends media overall. If, for some reason, you decide to stick to Hyperspin, make sure you understand that its development ceased for many years and these fixes may or may not work forever. Let's face it, it's old, it runs at 1024x768, closed source and it's not like there aren't modern options. RocketLauncher development also ceased, few users are keeping modules working. I see how keeping Hyperspin working makes sense for very old users which has a working HS setup and put a lot of effort on it, however, any newer users are advised that your mileage will be way easier and more comfortable with a current, more modern option, that won't alarm your anti-virus and won't need fixes to work on current OSes.

    Sounds like controller or something driver related. You'd have to disconnect each USB device and even uninstall drivers to sort this. I could be wrong, though, so it's only a suggestion.

    I know the feeling, at least part of it. Keep going, it's always interesting to see the unknown. Do you know anything about the FM Towns Marty? That console looks great, I know it's compatible with the FM Towns (computer) games, but I never tried it and I'm not sure if the computer games work in it, it's probably a consolized thing like the Amiga CD-32 right?

    It's all good, I worked on adding a few dozen games some time ago and managed to grab all videos needed to fill in the blanks, it's around 80~ titles, my issue here is that there isn't an "official" 3D box pack yet, so if you check the video below, their angles/sizes differ, some are quite convincing while others are plain placeholders, but since all my other systems are using this layout, I went with those for now. Though, I really dig a more plain and cleaner approach like yours. Let me know if you'd like the videos or even logos from my setup. This system already has tons and tons of titles like the Wii and I end up selecting no more than 200 (which is already an insane amount), but I asked because I could have missed some official media pack. I started uploading my latest works on Emumovies, I believe Hyperspin could use the same upgrades those servers have, they accept much larger files.

    I think this happens because of the 100MB per file limit, you'd need to split the file into pieces of 95~MB each in Winrar, 7z, etc.

    Admin rights are not needed. Can you download the full pack and update, extract it to a separate folder than your current HS, run Hypertheme and let me know if it works. Before that, have you tried putting a default theme inside the MAME\Themes\here folder and see if HT works?

    HyperTheme's blank screen is a known issue and is being worked on, among other stuff. For now, let's check what causes the blank screen. Basically, the way HyperTheme works today, it checks if there's a MAME\Themes folder under the Media directory, if that doesn't exists, it will be blank, that's usually because we tend to have Arcade Classics instead of a MAME folder. By just creating two empty folders under Media, which are MAME and inside it Themes: It will work as it should:

    Of all the other artwork, working on the logos for the USA Genesis releases was the most troublesome part. There were lots of wheels/logos mismatching their cover arts, some were found already cut, others I did myself. It has all content released in USA, including official, unlicensed, protos and compilations. World unlicensed games like Xeno Crisis and others aren't included and will have their own pack later, some extra carts were made to fill in the new additions. Includes 22 titles released on the Sega Channel service, which are exclusives, even some undumped and titles that were only available physically in Europe and Japan.     This pack is taken from the amazing @Wally Wonka's carts found here, and like the 3D box art for Genesis it has all content released in USA, including official, unlicensed, protos and compilations. World unlicensed games like Xeno Crisis and others aren't included and will have their own pack later, some extra carts were made to fill in the new additions. It includes 22 titles released on the Sega Channel service, which are exclusives, even some undumped and titles that were only available physically in Europe and Japan. These will use the Sega Channel adapter as artwork, since it's what stored the downloaded game. Early prototypes which are mostly broken/incomplete weren't considered, while the most complete ones were already tested and added on previous efforts. 3D Box art: Wheels/Logos Database:
