What does everyone think of this...

What if pinball arcade, or a similar company make their game 3D using the same tech involved with passive 3D movies right now. Sure, we'd have to wear glasses, but when playing a pin, you're looking from the same direction when you play, how awesome would that be?

this has been discussed before.

Once the TV is rotated 270 degrees for use as a playfield, you will be looking at the screen at an angle from the side so the 3D effect would be pretty rubbish.

For desktop use though, vp already supports 3d.....

that tracking thing is the coolest thing ever!!!, makes the tables look so damn real its insane, and i assume you don't need the glasses for this? just the little leds on some sort of head band?

I was just at the midwest gaming classic and they had "Pinball Arcade" in 3D on the PS3. It was pretty awesome playing all the tables in 3D. I had him turn the monitor vertical just for fun and of course.. it didn't work then.. but then he was like I never realized that, I am going to look into making it work, thanks. He was one of the guys who developed the game I guess. Anyways.. pinball in 3D is pretty badass.

Makes me curious how you can put this inside a cabinet.

The distance between the wii cams is 1.8 meters at the moment.
