CAN launch games via rocketlauncherUI, CAN NOT launch games via hyperspin using rocketlauncher.

Im sure it has to be something simple i did wrong. or a simple file needing to be edited.

 

Please help. Long time lurker. n00b poster.

 

 

It seems that the from hyperspin its messing up the command? its putting the rom name where the emulator folder name should be.

 

Im using

hyperspin 1.4 (latest rev)

rocketlauncher (auto updated)

 

But when I attempt to launch ANY game via hyperspin. i get this error:

But when i use rocketlauncherUI i can launch games fine.

In HyperHQ change all the wheels from normal execution to HyperLaunch. Then in your HyperSpin folder open the Settings file -> open the settings.ini -> under the [main] section find the key HyperLaunch_Path= . Change this key's value to be your full path to the RocketLauncher.exe. (i.e. HyperLaunch_Path=C:\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.exe)

Strange how it launches fine with RLUI and then RL throws up an error when run through HyperSpin. Have you got another install or something?

i understand HS1.4 is a beta..

 

but HS1.3 doesnt have this problem. when i use the other Hyperspin.exe everything works.

 

I would use HS1.3 but HS1.4 fixes the horizontal scroll bugs. and i love the horizontal views (namely Dark's Aeon Nox theme) ( since I use Aeon Nox on my Kodi HTPC, what hyperspin is on)

seems to me that you ran the transition tool and then updated to HS v 1.4

 

you can't just switch back and forth from v 1.3 and 1.4 without adjusting your HyperHQ settngs.

 

this is why you are getting the No default emulator found error.

Yes sir.. thats saddly what i had done.

 

How do i go about fixing it? make adjustments in HyperHQ?  or am i too far gone & borked eerything up?
