Kevinlives Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 A guy I work with said he heard it in Burleson, about 75 miles away. Did you take that vid, and if so, are you okay?
Pyramid_Head Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Three days after the Boston attacks. I don't think it's just a coincidence.
sandman7793 Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 We use emulsion to blast at my work and proprietary ingredient's is from fertilizer. A boy stuck in a mans body
evil eye Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Holy shit that was crazy to watch! Didn't think it would've been that big of an explosion given the distance. Wow.
djvj Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 This actually happens more then you think to these plants. I've seen a few more plants like this do the same thing over the years. THe chemicals ppl use to make homemade bombs often come from fertilizers. Trnzaddict Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Dude that explosion is crazy even though it was a ways away when it happened it looked like it got so close to them. Poor kid he probably heard nothing but ringing for hours. I am......Machine
Mystro183 Posted April 19, 2013 Author Posted April 19, 2013 It wasn't me i just saw this on youtube right after it happened.
THK Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Yeah fertilizer makes a good source for explosives, so a fertilizer storage compound on fire is something to keep some distance from indeed. Reminds me a bit of a fire & explosion years back in the city I live. A fireworks storage at overcapacity situated in a residential area caught fire and cause a huge explosion & aftermath. We were lucky the beer brewery close by was just heavily damaged and the ammonia silo didn't blow up as well. ..........................back with a vengeance........................
THK Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Another angle https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fwrSCufH5U The 2nd big explosion is slowed down in the end show it tearing off the roofs of buildings (as the commentator says in Dutch) ..........................back with a vengeance........................
