Would a 2 TB drive be enough?

I am trying to figure out how big of a hardrive I would need for my build.  I don't plan on having full sets for every system, but I do have full sets for MAME (without all of the CHD's, I will only have a couple of CHD games.), 2600, NES, SNES, Genesis, Game Gear, 32x, SMS.

For the CD based games I will only have a handful of my favorite titles.

I do want full artwork and videos for everything though.  I will also be playing PC games as well.  Based on this information, would a 2 TB drive be enough?  I figure I can always add another one if I needed to but I don't want to buy more than I will use.

I have a 2 TB Hard Drive and COMPLETE sets for 2600, 5200, 7800, Jaguar, Lynx, Colecovision, Daphne, MAME (Parents only), Intellivision, TG-16, TG-CD, N64, NES, GB, GBA, GBC, Virtual Boy, 3DO, Atomiswave, 32X, Sega CD, Dreamcast, Game Gear, Genesis, Master System, Model 2, Model 3, Naomi, Saturn, SG-1000, Neo Geo CD, Neo Geo Pocket Color, Playstation, and SNES.

After ALL that, I still have  whopping 766 GB left on my HD for even more game someday. So, as long as you're willing to keep all your games in zip files, you're good. So yeah, a 2 TB drive is fine.

a 500 gig HD will be an over kill if you only want those systems

a full set of roms for 2600, NES, SNES, Genesis, Game Gear, 32x, SMS.  =  less then 2 gigs if they are zipped,  the good thing is that most emulators support direct zip loading for this systems

A FULL!!!! split set of MAME roms is less then 53 Gigs

A FULL  set of CHD is 230 Gigs,  but if you remove the CHDs for non working games you can get the number down to about 40 gigs  or less ( I also removed the music games, since they suck when you play them with joysticks.   My CHD folder is less then 30 GIGs)
