Hey Guys

I can not solve this issue. In HS, I click a Dreamcast game, it goes black, then the NULLDC splash screen shows up covering the whole screen. It is maybe 1-2 seconds.... then Dreamcast loads.  I have am not sure where NULL DC gets this image from? I have looked and was going to make a black one, but I can not find the image.  I have tired hiding it with no luck.. any suggestions?

If I had to guess I think the issue that demonseed is referring to dougan78 is that, for me atleast my fades work on all my systems, except for dreamcast. if someone knows how to set this up so that the nulldc screen does not come up I am all ears. it just flashes for a second for me but I hate that I see it.

Yes that's the issue I have with null dc. Maybe I should try different emulator? I tried fade in and various settings but the null dc screen always shows.

LOL Dougan! I was really hopeful. I'm pretty sure I remember seeing Austin's setup though and I don't think it pops up at all.

You know I never really noticed it and like Dougan I was probably blind to it, but yeah it happened on mine.

The key setting under "Edit Global Module Settings" for DC is "alwaysOnTop" so make sure it's set to off.

Here are my settings, I also use Fade and Bezels.

P.S. You will need to use fade with the above or you will see the splash screen.

Ok So I set my module to all the same.

I checked fade I have it set to TRUE.. splash screen still shows. What settings are on your fade setting screen?

I turned on Bezels and it now works!! thank you so much!!

Now I need to find good bezels!!! Where do we get those I do not see them anywhere.  I tried copying my Black bezel I used with PS2 but it is not working.. its all black and I can here the DC game in background, but nothing on screen.

Also, is there a link or how to set up those DC games (I think called CE games) that need to run on alternate emulator?

Thanks again! this was such a pain in the b*lls for the longest time!!

Do you have to have a bezel on for the screen to not show? Not at home right now to test but I only use bezels for handheld games.

Yes from what I see u need bezel on...I got it working, but having issues now with null dc itself.. I think I messed up the configurations.

I turned off noconsole to match what the pic showed and moved always on top to no. I have bezel on and fade. Does fade have to be set to X length to get this to work? I still see the splash

Unless Circo has moved them bezels are on the Emumovies ftp under either HyperLaunch or RocketLauncher media. I'll double check.

The fade in timings I have are

1500

Here is a black bezel that works since you said your ps2 bezel did not work demon. So happy I don't have to see that nulldc screen any more. Thanks Giga!!!

lol yep!

is the goal to hide the dreamcast part?

No you won't be able to hide that just the Nulldc splash screen before it. Let me guess, you've never seen the nulldc splash screen its always been hidden ;)

Thanks namdor :)
