Hi,

I need a little bit of help... Everything works for me and the things that don't ahh well I'll figure that out at some other point... anyway, so I'm trying to only use my buttons and joysticks to operate Hyperspin  The joystick works to move about the wheels, the genre, back, end exit keys work.. however for the life of me, I cannot find out how to get the selection key to work.   The controls I have setup in Hyper HQ:

Up - Favorites are default..  Start = 1, when I hit "Set", I hit the button I want to be the Start, that button is my Player 1 button. (button 1 is my coin button in MAME, and select player 1 in MAME).  This appears to work occasionally.. like if I close out of Hyperspin, then restart the application it will work but only once randomly.  It consistently works when I hit my back or escape button "when the screen appears: "Do you want to Exit", I cant hit that button 1 or "Start" button and it will exit the application.  It also works to select a wheel.. So if I scroll through available platforms.. MAME, SEGA, Atari.. if I hit button 1, it will select that platform. 

For some reason, this button 1 will not select or start a game.  Yes, all of my MAME games launch fine from RocketLauncher and LaunchBox/Bigbox.. but from the Hyperspin frontend... I cannot start anything.  Again, it works randomly but only one time if it works, after that I have to exit the application.   

Any ideas and help are much appreciated..

Possibly because he does not value them anymore but they are the best tutorials available in my opinion.  I dearly miss @Avar

So I've got everything updated to fresh install of Win10, and everything is working.. but the videos have a delay in them?

The sounds start straight away, but the video doesn't show for about 5 seconds.

Searching led to a thread about turning off hardware acceleration for flash, but flash has been depreciated now, and that was for .FLV videos anyway i think? And i've turned down the 'quality' settings in HyperHQ with no effect.

Anyone got any ideas abut this?

i don't think we can go back to .flv any more can we?

EDIT: Found out we still have to install flash (with an offline installer) and then disable hardware acceleration.

I'll do another post with instructions so ppl can find it easier
