it is possible... Not very fast as it takes some time to load every level of wheels but possible.

You need a Categories.xml file with entries like arcade, consoles, etc. That use the _XML_ filter to load the next level of files... And so on. I will need to make a detailed tutorial but it is possible yes. If I have the time this week I can do something like this.

Thanks knewlife that would be great. Thank you for your help!

ninja2bceen... maybe it's possible and i just dont understand how to fully set this up. .

Basically what i'm looking to do is this.

main menu -> arcade, console, handheld, computer systems

sub wheel -> manufacture nintendo, sega, sony (if i picked console in previous wheel)

sub wheel -> specific system nes, snes, n64 (if i picked nintendo in previous wheel)

sub wheel -> nes games (if i picked nes in previous wheel)

this always should look like this... ParentXML=_XML_Categories

I have add checks and changes to the app so it never ends with this data erased.

You mentioned that you deleted the DATA file... It works now?

If not you should download the last version... And just copy the mainmenuchanger.exe file to your install.

Launching MMCexit.exe will reset the DATA file.

My problem was my exit program. It was set to mainmenuchanger.exe with back as parameter.

I changed it to mmcexit.exe with no parameter and it seems to work. Or should i keep the back parameter?

mmcexit is supposed to be the exitapp yes. Set it in hyperhq AND in MainMenuChanger.ini just in case

Yea, got it working now, and i added killexplorer to hyperhq as well.

great the DATA file is used to store the "path" of loaded XML files and filters... This is used in multilevel setups. MMCexit reset this path when you exit hyperspin so next time you run it it will load categories.xml

Yes, but it sucks compared to the capcom logo... i advice everyone to use Sub Zero's wheel for arcade...

I am having a think on what to do for the other categories...

yes we need normal wheels to begin (no border etc.) Maybe a different font and style for every wheel. Like Nintendo font for consoles. Capcom for arcades. Gameboy for handlets?? And a moder font for PC games... Just throwing some ideas
