jcrowley30 Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Does anyone know another place to get the emulator files? Some of the links on http://www.singeengine.com/cms/node/6 appear to be dead.

Styphelus Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Why aren't these guides pinned? They should all be pinned or added to the emulator's pinned post at the top of the page.
rfancella Posted December 1, 2014 Author Posted December 1, 2014 Does anyone know another place to get the emulator files? Some of the links on http://www.singeengine.com/cms/node/6 appear to be dead. Makes me wonder why they were removed? The links that are dead are the A/V files. Wonder if it's been pulled because of copy write infringement?? Thanks, Ron Code Monkey and all around Command Line geek!If you like what someone has said or done for you, be sure and 'Thank' them. rfancella Posted December 1, 2014 Author Posted December 1, 2014 Why aren't these guides pinned? They should all be pinned or added to the emulator's pinned post at the top of the page. Yes, the issue with that, as I see it, is that there would then be pages of pinned guides and would make it hard to see the new posts. I think there should be one post pinned that has a list of all the guides in it. If only someone would volunteer to manage that post?? (reluctantly raises his hand) I put links to all my guides in a HyperSpin blog and added the links to my signature. But it would be nice to have a list of all guides on one page for sure. lograsso Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 PM Sent. Thanks, Ron I have also found a problem with the website. I have Daphne-singe 1.0, but it does not seem to accept the -fullscreen_window command. I think I need to upgrade to the new version (1.14) to use AimTrack Guns. Can someone help me find the new version and let me know if this might fix the problem. Thanks, Michael.
lograsso Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Sorry all. I managed to find a copy after more of a trawl and this new version fixed my issues. Thanks anyway.

rfancella Posted December 30, 2014 Author Posted December 30, 2014 Anyone have a complete ALG/ActionMax setup they want to share? Can't get mine to work for anything. Jeremy, I have sent you a PM with the AM files in it. The ALG stuff can be found if you look around. I paid for most of the ALG games I have, so I am a little reluctant to share them. Hope you understand. Thanks, Ron Code Monkey and all around Command Line geek!If you like what someone has said or done for you, be sure and 'Thank' them. monstermaker Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Does anyone have a new link that works for the Singe Emulator itself? Or the actionmax games? It's a bummer that the links on the singe site no longer work. Thanks so much, Mike

Tomkun Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I actually moved Ninja Hayate, Time Gal and Time Traveler to my Daphne wheel. Never made any sense to me to have them on the ALG wheel, when they were not ALG games. Thanks, Ron Hello. Thanks to your tutorials, I've got Daphne and Singe working very nicely. But this post piqued my interest. How would I go about moving these games and where would I move them from? I didn't see them in the database. Will they work with HyperSync cloud if I do? Many thanks.
rfancella Posted January 20, 2015 Author Posted January 20, 2015 Hello. Thanks to your tutorials, I've got Daphne and Singe working very nicely. But this post piqued my interest. How would I go about moving these games and where would I move them from? I didn't see them in the database. Will they work with HyperSync cloud if I do? Many thanks. Hi, I will do a quick writeup on how to do this now. The first thing to do is get the games you want working in Daphne Singe. So to start leave them on your ALG (American Laser Games) wheel. Get them setup and working there first. Once they launch and play from ALG, you can then move them over to Daphne. In my case, I renamed my wheel from Daphne to LaserDisc. Another personal preference. These are the xml entries in my database: <game name="hayate" index="" image=""> <description>Ninja Hayate</description> <cloneof></cloneof> <crc></crc> <manufacturer>Taito</manufacturer> <year>1984</year> <genre>Action</genre> <rating>AAMA - Yellow (Animated Violence Mild)</rating> <enabled>Yes</enabled> </game> <game name="timetraveler" index="true" image="w"> <description>Time Traveler</description> <cloneof></cloneof> <crc></crc> <manufacturer>American Laser Games</manufacturer> <year>1991</year> <genre>Action</genre> <rating>AAMA - Yellow (Animated Violence Mild)</rating> <enabled>Yes</enabled> </game> <game name="timetraveler3d" index="true" image="w"> <description>Time Traveler - 3D</description> <cloneof></cloneof> <crc></crc> <manufacturer>American Laser Games</manufacturer> <year>1991</year> <genre>Action</genre> <rating>AAMA - Yellow (Animated Violence Mild)</rating> <enabled>Yes</enabled> </game> <game name="timegal" index="true" image="w"> <description>Time Gal</description> <cloneof></cloneof> <crc></crc> <manufacturer>Taito</manufacturer> <year>1985</year> <genre>Action</genre> <rating>AAMA - Yellow (Animated Violence Mild)</rating> <enabled>Yes</enabled> </game> Put this in your ALG database and get the games running with Daphne Singe first. Then, cut this section out of the ALG database and put it in your Daphne.xml database. Move all the artwork, videos, wheel images and themes from ALG to Daphne. These can call be found in the Downloads section of this site. Once you have moved the xml from ALG to Daphne, close HLHQ and re-open it. Click Daphne (LaserDisc) on the left side. Then click Emulators on top. Add your path to your ALG roms along with your path to your Daphne Roms: Then click the Games tab on top. Do an audit by clicking the Blue Play button. You should be all green: Now, the most important step. You have to tell HLHQ to use an Alternate Emulator for those games. Click the Alternate Emulators tab. Hit the Green Plus button to add each game into the list. This will bring up a Add Alternate Game Emulator window. Select the Game. Leave the System blank. Select Daphne Singe as the Emulator and hit the save button: Go back to your System Audit and launch the game you just added. That's it. Once you have all your games added to your Alternate Emulators tab, they should all work from your Daphne Wheel, but HyperLaunch will use the Daphne Singe emulator for those games. Hope this helps. jedfactor Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Hi I managed to download all the files from the singe website before they got taken down, and I went through your guide and started setting up the action max bat files, but I got this error: Could not open file : F:/Games/Hyperspin/Emulators/daphne_singe/singe/ActionMax/./video_ActionMaxIntro.m2v Could not initialize laserdisc player! Shutting down sound system... Shutting down video display... I don't seem to have the ActionMaxIntro file, do you know where I can get this? Thanks
rfancella Posted February 2, 2015 Author Posted February 2, 2015 Where can I get the cdrom for singe games? ArtFunk, Rom location discussions are not allowed in the general forums. Only in the Gold Member sections. But since you asked, you could probably find them the same place I found most of mine. EBay or Amazon. The games are soooo good, I bought most of them. Just be careful that they are the correct version. Thanks, Ron Code Monkey and all around Command Line geek!If you like what someone has said or done for you, be sure and 'Thank' them.
