I would like to take this opportunity before I do walk away to clear the air with a member of this website mattedsmith. Regarding a recent post/thread that was moderated there was an escalation event in which both parties essentially acted like complete jerks towards one another (myself included as well). I am not going to rehash it all on here, but suffice to say it was totally out of lines on both end of the fence, and about 99.9% uncalled for. Anyhow allow me to take the opportunity to apologize here and now, and in the eye of the public for any action that I may have done that could have been perceived as unbecoming. I myself am not a "public" man which both Circo and Jhabers will testify to, and I frankly am typically very cynical (which BruceLee00 and Jhabers will both agree on) as well as a smart ass in real life. I myself do have a very short fuse, and the built up stress over the past few months and the ordeal with my children caused me to essentially go over the deep end for a spell. However, the only thing that I do want to make perfectly clear on the here and now, no member of HyperSpin administrator or otherwise has any intentions of censoring threads and or posts. However inasmuch they do plan on "cracking down" on users insulting other users, and just flaming in general, as well as posting stupid remarks to draw up a roar (to which I cannot honestly blame them.) So, if you post a thread or respond to a post with improper use of profanity or tearing someone down, and they receive a report from another user regarding it then yes your post will probably be deleted; that is the one thing I do want to convey, HyperSpin is getting essentially a new rule system and we all (myself included) must abide by at all times.

So, to mattedsmith I do apologize for any comments or actions that I may have been involved in that would have escalated or perpetuated any problems here on these forums. Now, also people please know that mattedsmith had nothing to do with my decission to walk away from the forums, that is pretty much a family thing that I am going through at the moment. Will I ever return? Who knows, right now it does not look good though so my short answer will probably still remain at no, I can never return in the capacity that I once was and am now as my life simply put does not permit doing so.

Once and for all end this here and now, BadBoyBill aside please note that I am still for the time being an administrator and I WILL NOT TOLERATE people downing mattedsmith on the forum, and doing so WILL HAVE serious consequences. If you want to fan the flames, you might as well just leave the site now. So, no dogging on matted whatsoever, there are two sides to a coin, and I personally never want to hear about this again outside of this thread as I am concerned this is where it dies.

Thanks Rain, I'm glad we worked through this. I'd also like to take the opportunity apologize to Rain. We were both out of order and it should not have escalated publicly.

End of the day, I'm only here to contribute back to the community that I've been fortunate to get a lot from. I'm happy I feel I can continue to do so. I hope that Rain equally is in the position to do so in the future.

Now let's all move on.
