OneBadVeggie Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 One of the members of the forum had a great website for emu's that work well with Hyperspin. He had a pic that linked to the site in his signature and kept them updated. If anyone knows who I'm talking about please send me link or something, thanks!

Polemicist Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Ummm. How about opening HyperLaunchHQ and look at each module and just click on the link for the Emulator you need to run that module? Kinda easy and matches what is required directly from the official website.
Min2001 Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 The latest emulator news usually comes from www.emucr.com. This site is constantly updated with emu news and has just added a PS3 homebrew emulator to the list in the last few weeks which should be interesting to follow if it ever gets to emulate the hardware correctly and is not shelved or made incomplete due to bad documentation. I don't think I have had issues with upgrading most of the emulators to thier current versions from the site. You wont find many that have issues with the modules made for hyperspin and most are corrected pretty fast when a new emulator version is released, as long as you keep the hyperspin folders updated via Git.

I like to keep my emulators up to date and sometimes the modules haven't caught up with the most current version, or just plain different from the standard (Like UME for example), The latest emulator news usually comes from www.emucr.com. I actually use EMUcr and I agree it's the best. The nice thing about VGemu is that it only has the most current and best emus for each system, and that just makes it easier to find what I'm looking for.
Trnzaddict Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 You have to watch it with emucr. Sometimes they compile shit. EG I downloaded the newest svn of SuperModel from there and there was something that didn't compile right in the video source because all games display garbage. Yesterday I downloaded the newest pcsx-r from there and it locks up HyperPause. The svn before that they compiled works fine. I am......Machine
