Polemicist Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Yeah saw that one before. But haven't reached S in the list of emulators yet. Supposed to be good to use for key config. Hmmm. Better remember to add that to the list. *sighs*
rfancella Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 supermodel 3 frontendallows configuration of keys i found it i did not make it Thanks Craig, I'll check it out tomorrow for sure! gigapig Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Was going to ask what this is, but decided not to be lazy. Supermodel XTASSY FE is a Front-End (GUI) for the Supermodel (Sega Model 3 Arcade Emulator) developed by Bart Trzynadlowski. I built this easy to use Front-End to all of you that don't want to mess with typing commands on a CMD MS-DOS BOX in windows. Currently available options easy to navigate from toolmenu in my Front-end. File Roms Path Configuration: Change your roms path and save it in .ini file to launch and load it next time you run the front-end. Video Video Resolution: Change video resolution (640x480,1024x768, or Custom . Enable Fullscreen: Show FPS: Disable 60Hz Frame Rate Limit: Keys and Mouse Configuration: CPU Power PC Frequency: Allow set custom PPC frequency

Went to put it into the SuperModel directory and found one already there. Supermodel-UI.exe Guess I downloaded SUI_v0.9.151 a while ago. It appears to have a much better set of options: http://www.supermodel3.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=343 Thanks, Ron Code Monkey and all around Command Line geek!If you like what someone has said or done for you, be sure and 'Thank' them. Polemicist Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 LOL. :ditto: Went to have a look at found I already had the same thing. Great minds think alike fools never differ.
gigapig Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 This one is possibly newer? http://www.fastools.com.ar/sui/
craiganderson Posted March 3, 2014 Author Posted March 3, 2014 I think it's a convenient way to change input settings. Rather than going into hyper launch, changing setting, opening emulator, going back to reverse hyper launch setting change etc..... In reviewing and testing both programs, I prefer Supermodel-UI. With it you can re-map any or all controls individually through a GUI. The SuperModelXtassy launches a re-map window that makes you remap them by going through each one at a time. Polemicist Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 +1 to that. I have not setup Super Model yet so this was a moot point for me but I like knowing this stuff so thanks for bringing it to our attention Craig and thanks Ron for have a play with Giga's suggestion that he found.
gigapig Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 have a play with Giga's suggestion that he found. Just had a go with it. My original settings appeared so no real need to change the controls, but a lot easier than without using it. Thanks Craig for pointing it out.
klizine Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 LOL. :ditto:Went to have a look at found I already had the same thing. Great minds think alike fools never differ. Weird... I just downloaded it, went to place it in the folder.... and it's there. Strange things are about... strange things I say!
