Hello all,

So, you have an Amiga? Disc's have gone bad or your floppy is not so floppy any more?? ;)

Stumbled across this article and thought it was interesting...

http://amigadrive.blogspot.ca/2013/11/how-use-raspberry-pi-as-amiga-floppy.html

Allows you to use a Raspberry Pi as a floppy drive emulator. Total cost (including the RPI) around $50.00.

Thoughts?

I don't have an Amiga, but I'm impressed nonetheless! Is there anything that can't be done with a Raspberry Pi and a bit of ingenuity???

Everything is possible with the power of the pi!

Right? It does seem like a little overkill, but it's still cheaper than buying new floppies or a new floppy drive.

Thanks,

Ron

Better investment all around, once you're done with your amiga you pop in a different SD card and you could have a electron microscope, a media player, video editing station or hang it back into you're 3d printing rig. Pi rules!!

Great link, thanks...I had an Amiga for a few years and loved it.
