SpykSaturn Posted November 9, 2016 Posted November 9, 2016 So I recall on a video seeing this program that color coded your MAME games based on severity of missing files much like newer versions of MAME its self does. This program also showed you the files you were missing if you clicked on to the game and kind of displayed them kind of like windows does when you are looking to unzip something and you have to double click to go into a file and then double click that file to go into a file (wow horrible explanation), but you would double click the game in questions and it would show the files missing. Does anyone know what that program is called, or am I thinking I saw something that was something completely different?
SpykSaturn Posted November 9, 2016 Author Posted November 9, 2016 Think I may have found one called rom center but I am not sure...... If anyone has a better one in mind let me know.
Retro Goonie Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 Sounds like you are describing MAMEUIFX. Runs MAME in a window with a GUI. Has a list of available MAME games. When you add games to your rom folder......working roms show in green. Roms that are playable but are not 100% perfect show in yellow. Non working roms show in red. If you right click on a game, a menu pops up. If you select audit, a window appears showing you which files your rom is missing. My Artwork! Carts: GCE Vectrex 2D Carts (Realistic Version) 1.0, GCE Vectrex 2D Carts (Vector Version) 1.0 Pointers: NEC PC Engine Pointer(s), NEC SuperGrafx Pointer(s), Sega SG-1000 Pointer(s), Sega TecToy Pointer(s), Sega Mega Drive Japan Pointer(s), Nintendo 64 Pointer(s)
Metalzoic Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 If you are thinking of MAMEUIFX that version of MAME quit being updated. The last available version was for MAME .175
gigapig Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 And to follow on from what Metaloic said, the development was picked up and it's now called Arcade64 or just Arcade. just signed up to that forum, it looks like 0.180 should be with us soon if not already.

Does Arcade64 use the same interface?
